This was the most amazing dinner. From start to finish, the tasting menu was beautiful, well paced and delicious. Chef put together a thoughtful & creative menu that was presented beautifully. The staff was equally as amazing. I love this restaurant and will look forward to coming back in the future. Thanks for making Sheila’s birthday special.

We had an amazing dinner at Lyla and would absolutely return.
The seafood courses were the stars of the evening, especially the caviar dishes, scallop, langoustine, and halibut. Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor.
The service was fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without being over the top. The pastry chef also deserves a special shoutout because the desserts were incredible and a perfect ending to the meal.
For the quality of food and experience, we felt it was a great value. Definitely one of our favorite meals in Edinburgh. Highly recommend!
Outstanding meal and experience; one of the best in Edinburgh. You can tell there has been so much care and thought put into every little detail at this restaurant. The bar room is beautiful with stunning views (especially in the light evenings). The food was exceptional. The cocktails and paired drinks suited everything perfectly - it was wonderful to try some new wines. What really added to the evening was having such attentive service staff. Every server took time to explain things, our Sommelier was also so knowledgeable and happy to share more information about the wines too. We would love to come back. Thank you again.

Visited thanks to a Christmas gift voucher we got for the 7 course sampling lunch.
Was amazing. From greeting by staff, the food and service. We never stayed over so marked the rooms as a 3, but expect they would be great as well.
They should make the playlist available to scan and add to Spotify as it was a collection of 80s bangers!
But the highlight was the langustines they were just double extra fantastic.
So to summarise, visit, eat and enjoy while singing along (in your head) to some great tunes. A great gift we received from our daughter.
