Had an early dinner at the bar on 4-22-26 during NFL Draft week. Our server, Diane was very personable and attentive. We had a Caesar salad, 16 oz ribeye steak and lobster mac & cheese. The salad was delicious with plenty of dressing and large croutons. The lobster Mac & cheese was not great, it lacked flavor and it barely had any lobster. We ordered our steak medium rare and it came out medium well. We sent the steak back and a new one came out about ten minutes later. The steak could have been better, it was not flavorful. Matthew from behind the bar took our drinks and mac & cheese off our bill which was appreciated. Probably won’t eat here again and prefer Hyde Park Steakhouse.
Joined the Horse Soldier bourbon dinner and everything was 100% on point! Quality of food, service, timing and pairings were excellent. This was our second time attending this style of dinner and for $125/person, the value is all there. We look forward to returning.

Overall this dining experience left much to be desired. The drinks were the best part of the entire meal service. We ordered mozzarella as our appetizer expecting it to come with bread, veggies, crackers…some sort of vessel…but it was literally just an $18 bowl of cheese that had the texture of tasteless rubber. My husband and I then had the chicken parm cutlet entree. The gnocchi was the highlight of the dish with its garlic creaminess. The cutlet was doused in more rubbery, flavorless cheese. The chocolate tiramisu dessert was the light at the end of the rubbery cheese tunnel.
The service was good as far as the wait staff are concerned. Not extraordinary, but good.
Another side note - it was strange getting into the restaurant at all. The hostess poorly explained it was “sip and savor night”, making it sound like the place was booked up for a private party instead of a promotional event to the public.

This restaurant used to be amazing and the food was the same as the recipes in the original Ft Lauderdale location…now the food is as gross as the casino, the portions have been reduced and it’s all overpriced. We noticed it going down hill about a year ago and now we know we won’t go back. Very disappointing. The staff was cheerful and friendly - they had that going for them.
Food - terrible
Atmosphere - inside the restaurant is pretty but you have to walk through a smoke filled casino
Service - very nice

We’ve been to the original Martorano’s in Fort Lauderdale numerous times and absolutely loved it—the food, atmosphere, and overall experience are phenomenal. Unfortunately, the Pittsburgh location is a shell of what we experienced in Fort Lauderdale.
We took friends there this evening expecting a similar experience, and it was disappointing from the start. First, you have to make your way through a smoky casino just to get to the restaurant, which immediately takes away from the upscale dining experience you’d expect.
More importantly, the food simply isn’t the same. The dishes love in Fort Lauderdale just didn’t have the same quality, flavor, or execution in Pittsburgh at all.
We were excited to introduce our friends to Martorano’s based on how much we enjoy the Fort Lauderdale location, but unfortunately, the Pittsburgh location didn’t come close to living up to it. Unfortunately, this was the second time we were here, we were hoping that the first time was an anomaly. But it wasn’t.
