Master Host

The best restaurant in Sorrento by a mile. Near the centre, it's the typical local restaurant. The best price in all region, maybe the only restaurant with a FAIR PRICE. Antonio, the owner, is always present and it's very helpful. I stayed in Sorrento 5 days and went to Master Hosts almost every day. The menu have some combos that are excelent prices, like: Pasta + Salad + Soft drink + Limoncello shot everything for 15 euros. Or other combo option is Lasagna + Chicken with fries + soft drink + desert + limoncello shot for 18 euros(seriously). If you doubt it, I'll post the pictures. It's a MUST GO.

Overall not impressed. The first night here we were happy, ordered a bruschetta, pizza, and the paccheri sausage pasta, which were tasty and the prices were fair. We came back the next day, ordered the same pasta which was still tasty, “focaccia”, and a carbonara. The carbonara was scrambled eggs and the “focaccia” came at the end of our meal and was just a garlic pizza bread. The service the second night was particularly bad, plates were just placed on our table with nothing said, no one checked in how our meal was, and no offers of Parmesan, pepper, oil, or balsamic, we had to go and find it ourselves. We also noticed everyone else got complimentary bread and limoncello which we never did either night - not really a big deal to us, but it all seemed quite selective. What’s more, they charge you €6 extra to pay by card, which you only find out when you go to pay. It has the potential to be good if they scaled down their menu, made sure food is only served if it is acceptable, and staff were trained in better service. Based on the first night we were going to come here every night, but unfortunately, we will not be returning and the last night was a complete waste of our money.

This place is the best! You must come here if you are in Sorrento. Antonio is so lovely and welcoming and the team here are great. They have attention to detail and the place has a really good atmosphere. The food is not only affordable but it is so so yummy! Came back here 3 times during our 3 day stay in Sorrento as it was just that good! Will definitely be back when we are next here. Excellent food and service, I hope their pillows are always cold at night.

I super recommend this amazing restaurant, delicious food and drinks, well served, great atmosphere, kindness and hospitality, we all had a great time, we came back everyday in all the 4 days we spent in Sorrento, me and my family It was such a pleasure meeting Antonio, Savia and everyone else. Thank you, really made our days in Italy the best, I would say one of the few more special of all times 💗🍀🙏🤌🫂🇮🇹

We were only in Sorrento for 3 days unfortunately, but we ended up coming to Master Host's 3 times while here. Antonio and his team were amazing and very attentive to us. Every item off the menu that we tried was amazing and very flavourful. We will definitely be coming back when we are lucky enough to return. A true gem in the heart of Sorrento 🇮🇹❤️
