Cute dim lights. Usually I hate sitting at the bar but I loved it here. Best sushi I’ve had, surprisingly big menu to choose from, nice wine. Price was excellent too. 10/10 will be back
Just okay. The restaurant has a great atmosphere (stylish and dim; a good date place), but has not much else going for it. We were seated at the bar, despite having a reservation, on uncomfortable, wobbly stools and people were constantly squeezing by behind us. The fish and unagi tasted fine but unmemorable and the rice had an unpleasant, mushy texture. The warm sake was very nice. It was expensive for what you got and I was happy to leave at the end.
Very disappointing and frustrating experience. We waited well beyond the time we were originally told, and every time we asked for an update, we got vague answers. We were told the table only needed to be set, yet the hostess clearly seated couples who arrived after us and did not even have a reservation.
When we asked if we could simply sit down anyway, she said it was not possible because the table was not ready. We said that was fine and that we did not mind, so we asked what exactly was left to do. She told us they only needed to put chopsticks on the table. After waiting another 10 minutes, we checked again, and suddenly we were told that our table had been changed to a different one, and isn't ready yet. At that point, we decided to leave.
What made this even more frustrating was that this was not during a busy rush or peak hour — it was already very late. Poor communication, poor handling, and no respect for customers’ time.
Expect to spend 150-200 shekel per person and eat average sushi.
This place prices are of a fancy and elegant sushi place but the sushi is not close to the quality suggested by the price.
The fish is not that fresh, the service is awful (I had to insist them to bring the card machine for me to pay) and the sushi variety is limited (there are no combos as well, which sucks).
Also, I went with 6 people, we all ordered together and the food got to the table at very different times which was annoying since we wanted to eat everyone together.
great sushi, great service, great selection. I love the fact how all menu items have photos. it really helps decide (as well as get more sushi). overall my favorite sushi place in town
*edit*
Downgraded to 4* as last time (April 22) we got no service. Something about shift changes. We waited long as food was forgotten, no oned clread our dishes or asked if we need anything. First time ever in my life I didn't leave a tip. Sorry...
