An amazing and super authentic Thai restaurant, probably one of the best ones in the city!
I came here for a quick lunch with a friend on a weekday, and there was quite a long waiting line (if you have a tight schedule, make sure to arrive early right when they open, otherwise you can wait for a table for quite some time), but because we were only 2 we managed to get a table quite quickly, after about 10-15 mins.
The staff was kind and explained about the spiciness level of the food we ordered, just to make sure it won't be too spicy for us, which I greatly appreciated.
For starter we shared a papaya salad that was just the perfect amount of spicy (I do like spicy food though, for my friend it was too spicy).
For mains I had my favorite Thai soup, Khao Soy, which is a red curry based soup served with chicken, egg noodles and topped with coriander and some fried noodles that provide a crispy touch to the entire dish. I absolutely loved it, and as someone who visited Thailand a few months ago, it definitely sent me back and the flavors were really good and authentic.
My friend had the Gai Pad King which is stir fried chicken with ginger, scallion, garlic & shimeji mushrooms, topped with a sunny side up egg and served with white rice. This one was also very delicious and felt authentic to the Thai kitchen's flavors.
The atmosphere was quite busy as the entire place was full, but it wasn't hectic and we could still enjoy a conversation without the background noises being too loud.
Overall a great lunch option, especially if you adore the Thai cuisine as much as I do, and I can't wait to come back and eat here again!
It is the Best.
I have been to Thailand many times and this restaurant’s food is absolutely phenomenal and authentic, we ordered half of the things on the menu and is 12/10 satisfied with all of them. Nice cozy atmosphere and the dishes were served so fast. Best place for our family dinner. Everything is so fresh and aromatic
Really solid Thai spot! I ordered the papaya salad and Tom Kha soup that I used to cook at home all the time back when I lived in Thailand. The soup was rich and full of flavor, and the papaya had that perfect, fresh crunch. They definitely don't skimp on the fish sauce either :)
The atmosphere feels just like a classic local Thai eatery, right down to the authentic music (and even the single-stall restroom hahaha 😂).
We came to 'Onauma' ( a Thai restaurant ) to celebrate our birthday. It was perfect. When We got in the place seemed small but after a few seconds it was like we were in a different place all together. It feels like Thailand. The service was exceptional, quick, efficient and friendly. But the highlight of the evening was the delicious dishes. They were simple but special, very tasty, and magical. the drinks were unick and the dessert was like the cherry on the top of the cake, it was dreamy. We had the best time ever and the cost wasn't high.
I recommend it warmly!
Yummy!
Dinner at Onauma was just delicious!
All dishes felt authentic and were well prepared. Really recommend the fried chicken dish that was especially tasty. 🍗😋And the tapioca dessert was something special and surprising for sure.
The service was welcoming, and the staff was nice. The atmosphere is super chill.
No doubt we will come back 👌🏼
