It was a great experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is beautiful, vibrant, and welcoming, making it a great spot for a date night, dinner with friends, or happy hour.
Speaking of happy hour, it's absolutely worth it! There are plenty of delicious options, and everything we tried was excellent. The 1000 Layer Potatoes were the standout of the meal, perfectly crisp on the outside and incredibly fluffy on the inside. The chips and guacamole were fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. The drinks were also delicious and expertly crafted. By the way, the chocolate chip cookie was excellent. Warm with crispy edges and a soft center.
If you have food allergies, be aware that there aren't many substitutions available. However, I really appreciated that the chef was willing to walk through the menu and mark up options for me to discuss with the server of what would work, which made me feel much more comfortable.
If you're looking for a restaurant with a full plant-based menu, Planta Marina del Rey is definitely worth visiting. Great food, great drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere, I look forward to coming back!
If you're looking for incredible vegan food and a great vibe, PLANTA Cocina is the place to be. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, but you must must must try the Udon Noodles - they were incredible! The service was fine, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. My only slight eh moment was realizing most of the dishes lack protein by itself; they provide optional to add for some dishes, however I feel this should be a standard, not an exception. Nonetheless, I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommend.
My husband and I are not vegan but saw a lot of gluten free options so we decided to go. We were so pleasantly surprised by everything we ordered. The flavors were wonderful, decent portion sizes and prices were reasonable. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Tommy our server was very kind and helpful! Definitely get the bang bang broccoli and matcha cheesecake!!

We enjoyed firecracker (Sushi), Quesabirria , Udon noodles a lot. Complementary desert was surprised for us ss it was my son’s birthday.
It’s enough spacious , so we didn’t feel like crowded.

We went here for Easter dinner and the whole place was amazing. Everything was vegan so we ate Family style and tried all the good stuff. The bang bang, broccoli and the smash avocado roll were my favorite. Be sure to order everything and share so you can taste all that they have to offer. The view was really nice even from inside you could see the marina and the interior of this place is just gorgeous.
