I came here over a year ago, the food and service were top notch then and it’s still top notch now. My husband and I thought that both crudo dishes were all star choices-they should not be skipped. The raw bar items were all fresh and high quality. The surprising star to end the evening was the jasmine tea and yuzu sorbet. It was cold outside tonight, and even though I knew the sorbet would freeze my core, each bite was worth the pain.

The inside decor and set up of this place is nice and comfortable. I took my dad here for his 90th bday because he loves oysters. I researched ADA access in advance and it seemed to accommodate but onsite it's very tight navigation. Tables and seats on the patio partially blocked the wheelchair access route. Some diners weren't pleasant or accommodating about moving. Also parking is difficult if busy. Very small shared lot and tight and limited street parking. We were fortunate because we had an early reservation but when we left cars were stacked on the adjacent street waiting for space. Physical mobility and parking loses this place a star. The food and service were otherwise good. Met our expectations. The prices are pricey but we knew that and didn't mind since it was for my dad's experience. It would be tough to make this a regular dining experience due to cost. Otherwise the shellfish was fresh, but their Cesar salad was a bit overdressed, the presentation was very good and 3 of us left feeling satisfied. Only bummer was my dad was not offered a bday treat, they don't really do that I guess.

Queen’s Raw Bar & Grill is a charming take on a Southern seafood and raw bar. The space is beautiful and the service friendly. Standouts were the fresh oysters, grilled artichokes, fried code sandwich and passion fruit sundae. Friendly dogs are welcome on the patio. It’s a perfect afternoon spot, or evening date spot.

Honestly, I want to give Queen’s a 5 star. We’ve been here several times and the experience has been epic. This review is based on my last experience. Walking in, we were greeted by the host. I booked reservations for indoor dining but she recommended outdoor, the weather was prime and we agreed and were happy we did. The breeze and their music selection closed the deal. An old school jam, ABC - Jackson 5 was playing as we were being seated. We were feeling the vibe. It didn’t take long for our server to appear and ask us if we wanted water or maybe a little something harder. He mentioned a special on martinis. 10 bucks. So we opted for both, martinis and mineral water. Looking through the menu, there were some standouts: Oysters, halibut crudo, shrimp cocktail, their house salad, a chicken dish and black cod. Drinks were served shortly after and we made our order. I gotta say the $10 martini went down extremely well. Food? The oysters were heaven. Tasted like they were picked right out of the sea, the vinegar sauce was a nice complement with a spritz of lemon. East coast oysters. The shrimp cocktail? This was our only downer. Although the dipping sauce was excellent, the shrimp prepared perfectly… it was extremely over seasoned. It was hard to get down, and good thing that the halibut crudo came out right after! Exceptionally dish, fresh with a citrus sauce, very pleasant dish. Shortly after the salad came out, damn good. Then the chicken and black cod on rice. Lemme say, that black cod elevated me from the first bite, the outer texture was crispy, but once you bit through that it melted in your mouth, the rice complimented the fish well - seasoned to perfection. The chicken was a close second, crispy outer with a moist inner, it came with really tasty and crispy fries - the dipping sauce was 🔥 . With the exception of the shrimp the meal was sublime. Stand outs: oysters, black cod, chicken, raw halibut. Why 4 stars? A significant part of the dining experience is the service you are provided. Our server appeared inexperienced and not very personable, but to his credit we was very young. I would think an establishment like this would provide more seasoned staff. Also consider, be prepared to spend some $. We’ve been here 3 times, and for a party of 2: with appetizers, drinks and a couple mains the check has always exceeded 3 bills. For the culinary experience and ambience I do not mind the price of admission. Service is usually on point. Either way, for any seafood lover in the area, this establishment should be in your hit list. We will continue to explore their menu
