This was our second Michelin star restaurants this week so it’s hard not to compare. I love the exclusivity feeling of the restaurant. You walk in and then go to a waiting area to get drink and food ordered. Then you head over to the dining room. It was a little too formal for my liking. I felt like I had to whisper and couldn’t have a real conversation with the staff.
I did the tasting menu. The food was good, but I don’t think I’d go back. It was very creative, but I think the flavors might have been too complex. The other restaurant we went to was great at explaining the dish, however, this restaurant they used too much of their culinary jargon.
The staff may have been too eager watching us eat and drink. They stood behind my husband in the doorway watching to see when we needed refills or our plates removed. I respect the ambition, however I was constantly feeling watched with them right behind my husband. If they were on the opposite side of the room I wouldn’t have noticed as much.
Everything was impeccable from start to finish, the service, the atmosphere, the attention to detail. You can see how important your experience is to the staff. We were amazed by the food, and even shook hands with Pedro that waited for us at the exit. I recommend it 11/10!

Well, I asked ChatGPT what restaurant I absolutely couldn’t miss in Porto, and this one came up. Not for the faint of wallet, I’ll be honest, but any cost anxiety dissolves fast once you dive in. I went all in and chose the seven “moment” menu at €180.
I won’t pretend I have the world’s most refined palate, but i am a food content creator and I can tell you this meal was unforgettable. Every dish felt like it came straight from the heart — full of creativity, intention, and a real love for food. It wasn’t just beautiful presentation, it was passion on a plate. Easily the premier meal of this trip to Portugal , and honestly probably my top meal of the entire 2025 year.
The ambiance and staff? Unparalleled. The custom woodwork running up the walls and into the ceiling, the parquet floors, the custom-made chairs, and the course-specific cutlery — everything felt curated and meaningful. And the staff were an extension of that elegance: warm, attentive, and genuinely excited for me as a solo diner throughout my 2.5-hour journey.
Unforgettable. An 11 out of 10. I got to shake hands with Pedro himself at the end and I think he could tell how grateful I was. He took me into the kitchen to meet his staff for that evening. Home run.

Dining at Pedro Lemos was one of the highlights of my trip to Portugal. From the moment we walked in, the place felt special warm, welcoming, and full of charm. What really made the night unforgettable was getting to meet Chef Pedro himself. He was so down to earth and genuinely took the time to chat with us, which made the experience feel even more personal.
I have a few food allergies, which usually makes eating out a bit nerve-wracking, but the team here couldn’t have been more accommodating. They took everything seriously and still managed to serve dishes that were creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I felt totally looked after the entire evening, which meant so much.
It’s not every day you find a place where the food is outstanding and the people are just as amazing. Pedro Lemos is more than just a fine dining spot it’s an experience made with heart. I can’t recommend it enough.

Pedro Lamos is a wonderful restaurant - the space, service and food are all as you would expect from a Michelin Star. The interior
Was a stand out. Only thing that seemed out of place was the music. A confounding mix that honestly clashed with the elegance of the experience.
