Came here with a group of five for dinner on a Saturday evening, and the timing worked out. There was no wait so we were able to settle in and enjoy a proper family-style feast pretty quick.
We ordered several of their popular dishes, including the lobster with noodles, basil clams, and plenty more. Everything was flavorful, satisfying, and made for a family style meal. The lobster and noodles were definitely worth getting a little shellfish over. Also, highly recommend the fermented greens. Simple, savory, and surprisingly addictive.
Great food, good portions, and an enjoyable dinner all around.
Grew up eating at Sam Woo and we happen to be in the area to try this location for dinner on a Sunday evening. I think it's my favorite so far. So glad that it was recommended to us!
We were a party of 7 and were seated right away. Service was excellent! Very friendly and attentive staff. We were given complimentary ice tea too.
We really enjoyed the dishes that we ordered. The food came out very quickly. The beef chow fun and the chicken with salty fish fried rice were my favorites. Though the won ton noodle soup and the seafood fried noodles dishes were also delicious.
At the end of the meal, we were each given a red bean dessert as well! Portions were large and their prices are still reasonable. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again!

DoorDash. ordered 3 item meats. one meat roast duck, two meats pork. One of the items of work was severely undercooked(raw) as you can see in the images.
I went to Sam Woo in San Gabriel for years and always loved it. I moved away from that city and was craving Sam Woo, after ordering, I realized this was the Cerritos store, fine whatever, should be legit. Destroyed my expectations of a killer Canton bbq. Unfortunately I ate a small piece of raw pork since it was dim at the table, the texture was off, thought it was fat that cooled down on the way to delivery to my home, nope, raw pork. Reported it to DoorDash with images for refund, called Sam Woo just to alert them they're delivering raw pork. Never again will come to this location. This is supposed to be the signature traditional 3 meat item dish, never again.
Watch your pork orders people.

Dropped in for lunch and had the black pepper filet mignon and some veggies. Food is always good and consistent so you will always get what you expect. Prices have e gone up quite a bit and they now charge you for rice.
