We were visiting Italy rather unplanned. Bologna was on our "that's not too far" map and we noticed this place and went really unplanned. We do appreciate good quality in cocktails and Scuro delivers!
I have a high quality standard to cocktail bars and this place is something else. Easily one of the best spots you can find in Europe! I would at least assume easily in top 50.
I ordered a few drink and Daniel delivered! Not only on the one from the menu but also the one I told him I would value the most. Hed spent a good amount explaining us the cocktails and bar mechanisms, we felt so well hosted. And he catered all guest equally even though there were many.

This modernist cocktail bar sits above its sister restaurant below in the heart of bologna. serving ahead of its time cocktails with unique flavours and experiences. the staff are brilliant and make you feel extremely welcome from the second you enter the bar. a very cool place and worth a visit if after something different
Me and my husband are massive cocktail lovers, and everywhere we go we visit different cocktail bars. I am incredibly happy we got to visit Scuro and visit it now because I am absolutely sure this one will blow up and getting reservation will become more and more difficult.
From the atmosphere and execution to the beautiful level of mixology served in the minimalist style, it was incredible. The cocktails are fantastic elevated spins of classics, while staying interesting and harmonized. I wish Bologna was closer to me but then I know I would be tempted to spend soooo much time here. We ended up spending couple hours there and getting three cocktails each. Can't wait for the next time.

Pietro is a very gifted mixologist with a passion for his art and is truly spectacular with his creations.
I would strongly recommend this bar as it has a cool funky vibe and we could have stayed all night. So glad we came.
