Customers consistently praise Seito Sushi Sand Lake for its exceptional ambiance, often described as stunning, elegant, and intimate. Service is frequently highlighted as excellent, attentive, and professional, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate guests. While many find the food delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor, some reviews suggest that the high prices don't always align with the perceived value of the dishes, particularly for certain sushi items or desserts. Popular dishes include spicy tuna crispy rice, pork belly buns, and various sushi and sashimi options. The restaurant can be a bit loud at times, but generally allows for conversation.
Additional Details
Seito Sushi Sand Lake is one of two locations in Florida, with another in Baldwin Park. The menu features a blend of traditional Japanese favorites and creative Pan-Asian cuisine.
The restaurant operates for dinner daily, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, and until 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. Reservations are recommended, especially for popular seating areas like under the blossom tree.
The atmosphere was lovely, intimate, and beautifully decorated. My husband and I went without a reservation, and they found us a nice table and provided excellent service. The drinks were very good.
The food, however, was less impressive. We have refined tastes, and while everything was decent, it wasn’t exceptionally delicious. The flavors didn’t quite justify the high prices per dish.
We would definitely return just for the atmosphere and how beautiful the place is, but in our opinion, it wouldn’t be worth it solely for the food. There are other places that offer better-tasting dishes.
For that reason, I give it three stars. My suggestion: put more care and flavor into the sushi. The place has potential, but it definitely needs more seasoning.
Aside from that, we had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary.
What an outstanding dining experience this turned out to be! Our server Julianna absolutely went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great evening. She was very personable, and had great recommendations!
We started with the pork belly buns with were incredible, just the perfect bite! We then shared the crispy tuna rice, which was also really good. We then shared the Hokkaido roll which was light and flavorful.
Overall, this is one of our favorite sushi restaurants in Orlando. The atmosphere was very laid-back, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding! We can't wait to be back again real soon!
Seito Sushi on Sand Lake delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely outstanding—beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. What impressed me even more was how the staff went above and beyond to accommodate the dietary restrictions within our group. Their attention to detail and willingness to ensure everyone had an amazing meal did not go unnoticed.
The service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed.
Dining in the Cherry Blossom Room made the evening even more memorable. It was quiet, intimate, and created the perfect atmosphere for a special night out. Every detail came together to make this an unforgettable experience. My favorites were the jalapeno business roll the truffle miso soup and garlic fried rice.
1st Time: The restaurant was very stunning, elegant and beautiful to look at. I made reservations, was the best bet. I got to sit under the beautiful blossom tree. The waiter was super professional and loved his passion. The menu was very unique. I had a blast trying their sushi.
By the way SHRIMP isn't sushi. So if you want flavor and raw fish, which is sushi. Don't order anything with shrimp. The Sashmi was so good. The yellow tail and bluefin i believe was so heavenly. Beef Carpaccio was amazing especially with the quail egg! However not the right chips. It should have Lavash crackers not wonton chips. The skewers beef wellington was tender and only comes with two, sadly. Wish there was at least 3 to 4. I will be coming here again! Hopefully, next time visit. The place is a bit loud but you can still talk among each other. Prices could be better but its all about the experience! Beautiful. Should not be a three stars...lol that's just ridiculous!
The place is pretty nice and the atmosphere is amazing. Service was great and the restaurant was very clean. Food was good but nothing super amazing… everything was well prepared and look very good… I really wanted to be impressed with the food because I have heard good things about this restaurant… I mean the food was tasty and good… but nothing crazy. Oh I forgot to mention that the green tea ice cream did not have a nice flavor… actually it was kind of lacking a flavor and my daughter did not even eat her strawberry ice cream… she did not like the taste of it.
