My recent visit to Tacos Los Cholos in Anaheim was nothing short of phenomenal. As someone who has eaten at countless Mexican restaurants across the country, I can confidently say this is one of the finest taco experiences I have ever had. From the moment you arrive, the aroma of mesquite-grilled meats fills the air and sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. The carne asada was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor, while the fresh onions, cilantro, and house salsas elevated every bite. The quesatacos were absolutely outstanding, featuring perfectly melted cheese, premium-quality meat, and tortillas grilled to perfection. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and prepared with tremendous attention to detail. The portions were generous, the ingredients were top quality, and every item we ordered exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was energetic and welcoming, creating the perfect environment to enjoy exceptional food with friends and family. What truly separates this place from the competition is its commitment to quality. Every taco feels handcrafted, every ingredient shines, and every bite reminds you why this restaurant has earned such a devoted following. First off the parking was crazy. Lots of people. The tacos were good. Once I bit that yellow Chile it kicked it up a notched. The Horchata was bomb! Great Cinnamon flavor. My wife told me not to drink it all at once. I did my best. She loved her aracherra 🌮. She said the tripa was OK. My sister and brother in law said the asada torta was good. We'll be back next time we're in Cali.

This was my second attempt to eat here. The first time, the line was too long and my husband didn’t want to wait. This time, we came on a Tuesday around 5pm and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. After sitting down, it seemed like they forgot about us because no one came to take our order for about 10 minutes, so we let one of the servers know. She was very nice and took care of us right away We ordered tripa and arrachera tacos, an asada burrito, and the arrachera papa loka, everything was delicious. The beef tripa was crispy, and the arrachera was cooked perfectly. I also loved all the different sauces they offer. We sat outside, and around 5:30 they turned on a heater near us, which made it really comfortable. Even though they forgot about us at first, the food is definitely a 5 out of 5. I’ll definitely be coming back! As a note, if you pay with cash, it’s a couple of cents cheaper per item.
