A local sweet shop recommended this as their number one, so we tried it. Was a bit pricey but was worth it. We only got the nachos with beef so don’t have a lot to comment on. It was about $30 but it was a big pile. Cheese was not drippy but not hard, and layered throughout…aces. The black beans were puréed and poured on…great idea. Jalapeños were fresh but not spicy…good for us, maybe not for others. Beef was tender and had good flavor. Plenty of guac and sour cream. Not the very best nachos we ever had, but not greasy and not heavy; we didn’t leave feeling like our gut was a rock. In top five nachos for us overall.
Service was decent but she never filled our water until we were leaving.
Interesting environment being a former church.
Good local restaurant in Rhinebeck. Big interior, lots of space. Staff is chatty and friendly, you’ll feel welcomed and at home. The tapas are fun and unique - we had duck quesadilla and crispy artichokes. The calamari is “the thing” to order, and the burger was nicely constructed and prepared. I also had a martini, which I forgot to photograph, but the bartending is verified good 👍
Stopped by for a drink after dinner elsewhere because nothing else was open late, especially on a Monday. We were a bit bummed that we could sit on the patio, but the bistro was fine. The drinks were great and we ended up ordering dessert too, a gluten free ice cream sandwich which was delicious. Would recommend.
This place has it all! The service is spot on! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very casual but still had a hint of church charm! The smoked onions on a burger is a must! I choose the sourdough toast and it was a great choice! Prices are comparable to other local fare but I think the service is top notch! Lastly the cutlery is the best I’ve seen in a restaurant by far!
We had the Christmas Eve dinner, the atmosphere were really nice, the food was also delicious. Overall, might go back if we are in the area!
I really liked my stake but one of our friend had asked for medium-well and the stake was cooked to well done and was a bit dry.
The ribeye was also really delicious and melted in your mouth.
