Delightful experience! Fantastic customer service, delicious food with well-timed table delivery, quality ingredients, and ever menu item was delicious! The truffle steak pasta was so good, had it twice for dinner. Drinks were well made and had great presentation. Cute, neighborhood gem! Sarah and Whitney were fantastic. Highly recommend!
I really wanted to love this place, but it was not mutual. The food is subpar. My steak was just tough and tasted salty. The only good dish was the dessert. It was fantastic.
The service is slow and not observant of the needs of the table. This is the second time visiting the Bee Hive. I was hoping it would in prove, unfortunately it has not.
I don't recommend.

We celebrated our 15 year anniversary here and it was spectacular. The view was wonderful from the second floor and the atmosphere was very classy. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip to start which was fantastic! For dinner I did the bourbon glazed salmon topped with grilled shrimp and a beehive salad and Brussels. My husband got the ribeye steak with carrots and Brussels. All the food was delicious, the salmon and shrimp were so flavorful and the steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, all the side were excellent too! Then to finish my husband got the crème brûlée and I got the honey pie. Oh man, let me tell ya, those desserts were divine. The service was excellent and they even gave us the honey pie on the house for our anniversary. We will absolutely be back!

Delicious! Had an amazing team Christmas dinner at the Beehive. Second time here and it was just as good as I remembered (honey pie might have been better!). Quaint, cozy tavern. It was about and hour and a half drive from Portsmouth but totally worth it. Didn't take the ferry this time as we were on a bus but did that last time and saved a few minutes of driving and worth the experience. Dinner was excellent had the sea scallop and borrowed a bite of the sea bass from my wife. Also enjoyed pretty much every app on the menu, aranchini was my favorite. And talk about hard choices. Honey pie or creme brulee. I went with the former and it was awesome. Others at table like creme brulee and a few even split the oversized chocolate cake. Service was on point, kept the table refreshed but didn't hurry us at all. Great time and can't wait to go back, thanks.

We went for Easter brunch, the eggs Benedict said to come with a poached egg, the egg was not cooked anywhere close to done (clear whites). I did eat the area without egg and it was delicious. The non breakfast items were delicious (fried green tomatoes, mushroom risotto, and cocktails). I'll give it a second try for dinner.
