A former popular cafe and event venue located in the Arts District of Los Angeles, known for its artistic ambiance and vintage decor. It also served as a unique wedding location.
The Daily Dose Cafe is a long-standing breakfast and lunch spot in Kenosha, known for its fresh coffee and scratch-made meals. It recently transitioned ownership from founder Jennifer Capponi to the husband-and-wife team Riki and Jandel Tagliapietra, who are also behind Cut Stone Handcrafted Italian, ensuring its legacy as a community-focused establishment continues.
Customers generally praise the quality of the food, describing it as fresh and well-prepared with decent portion sizes. The service is often highlighted as great, with staff being kind, attentive, and caring. Many appreciate the cozy, 'breakfast nook' atmosphere and reasonable prices. Some feedback indicates that food can occasionally be slightly bland, requiring minor adjustments, and service can feel rushed during peak times. Limited indoor seating and occasional issues with outdoor seating (e.g., wind affecting umbrellas) have also been noted.

The cafe is popular for breakfast and lunch. Wait times can vary, especially during peak periods, so calling ahead to get on a waitlist is recommended. It's a good spot for a morning meal or midday lunch.

Daily Dose Cafe appears to be a wholesome establishment. The cuisines were well prepared, looked fresh, and of fine quality. The portion sizes were decent and the taste was satisfactory but slightly bland on flavor - a little doctoring up improved the taste well enough. The customer service was good overall but a bit rushed which is understandable during peak periods. The menu offers some vegetarian and vegan options and effort is made to reduce if not eliminate cross contamination during preparation. The overall efforts were much appreciated. A fine establishment to grab lunch or order to go.
We were in the area visiting from Virginia. I done a quick google search for cafes in the area & this one caught my attention. I am so glad we chose to go here!! I had the French toast panini & it was really good. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food as well, no complaints at all. Service was great too! Our waitress was very kind & even paid attention to my 2 yr old who was very talkative. She was going right along with her! I appreciated that so much. Two other ladies checked on us as well & they were very kind. We were asked more than once how everything was & if we needed anything. You can tell the folks here really care about their customers & their satisfaction. 10/10 recommend & if I lived closer I’d be a regular!! Thank you for the great food & service!
We stopped in for lunch. Friends suggested it was good. We were surprised to find out that t is definitely a small place. Our only option was to sit outside. We waited for nearly 10 minutes beforw the server came out and told us she forgot about us. Secondly, it was a pretty windy day and all of the umbrellas were out and open- a huge wind gust came and blew over the umbrella right behind me, nearly hit us.
Server took our order and came back out 10 minutes later only to tell us that what we ordered wasnt available. This was 3 strikes against this lil mom and pop place.
We hope to visit on another day to sit inside. Service was just horrible.
This place is DIABOLICAL for how good it was. When I tell you I bit into my sandwich (*the caprese with avocado*) and immediately got hit with nostalgia of my aunt when she made her deli sandwiches, so good. I will say though for how it was prices immediately surprised it didn't come with a small thing of chips or fruit, but flavor and prep wise I can understand. The staff from the baristas, two cooks, and assistant staff were very on order with keeping things going in the back that was evidant. I'll definitely be coming back for more ❤️❤️❤️
What a wonderful little breakfast nook!!! While the indoor seating is limited, the food, service, and atmosphere are well worth the wait!!
The serving portions are only outmatched by the quality of the food on the menu!! And you absolutely can not beat the prices!!!
And their made in the house, both hot and cold coffee's, put both Starbucks and Dunkin's to shame!!!
The Daily Dose Cafe has won over my heart, my stomach, and my wallet!!!
You're absolutely crazy if you don't go give them a try!!!
