Absolutely incredible! I can’t recommend The Dough Thrower enough — their pizzas are bursting with flavour. My personal favourites are the Lisbon Heat and the Brooklyn Hot, and whatever you do, don’t miss the peri peri chicken wings — you won’t regret it! Every dish is crafted with so much love and the freshest ingredients. It’s no wonder The Dough Thrower has won so many awards — one taste and you’ll understand why

Loved my visit. Amazing food dished up by a cracking team.
Highly recommend "the flaming goat." The sweetness of the hot honey paired with the saltiness of the goats cheese was insanely good. That will be my go to order from now on.
Don't sleep on their Peri Peri chicken or Patatas Bravas...excellent additions to the menu.

Beautiful pizzas, Disappointing taste😭💀 when u get pizza from a proper restaurant rather than a chain pizza spot it hurts even more when your pizza arrives stone cold, UNCUT, and unseasoned. Absolutely no salt!?? Chewy dough and somehow they forgot to..cut the pizza..I mean, at this point I might as well open my own pizzeria if this is considered "award winning" pizza. Sad, nay, tragic! Ps: brownie was as dry as my nan's ashes and dusted in powdered sugar so even more accurate.

By far the best pizza in Cardiff and in the top 3 pizzas I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the Margarita and collected in person. The pizza was perfectly cooked - a fantastically crispy base - not soggy at all, and a crust that was puffy and flavoursome. The seasoning of the pizza was absolute perfection. I read about the sourcing of ingredients on the website and you could tell this pizza was made with quality ingredients. Delicious base, flavoursome sauce, tasty cheese and you could even taste hints of the olive oil they used. Absolutely delicious and I will absolutely be back.
The service was fantastic - really friendly group, and quickly resolved an issue I had through paying online. The pizza was made promptly and I felt was good value for money.
A new favourite place to eat in Cardiff. 10/10

To advertise pizza looking like a margarita made it Italy but alas it arrives looking as if it were made in a backstreet American takeaway is betrayal to pizza and dishonour to humanity. When cheese is orange cheese it’s….well it’s not actually cheese. And garlic dough balls? We couldn’t find the garlic and couldn’t find the dip, must of been lost with the topping that was also missed. If you enjoy a pizza that looks like it’s been flattened by James May in a Hummer with a texture akin to loo roll left out in the rain- then perhaps you would enjoy a slice. The box itself would have provided a more palatable experience than this basil-less, garlic poor excuse for a pizza that was left in the oven to burn for so long I’m surprised it didn’t just vanish into ashes 🔥
