The Rose House

Key Information

The Rose Gift House and Coffee, also known as The Rose House, is a unique hybrid establishment in Renton, Washington, functioning as both a cozy coffee shop and a gift store. It aims to be a comfortable '3rd place' for the community, featuring locally roasted coffee beans and a selection of locally made art, gifts, pins, and stickers. The ambiance is described as a perfect balance of airy and cozy, funky and tidy, fostering a welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere.

Customer Perception

Customers consistently praise the friendly and welcoming baristas, with some noting a strong sense of community where regulars are known. The coffee is highly rated for its smooth, non-bitter taste and natural flavors, particularly the specialty lattes like the '3rd Street Vanilla Latte' and 'Wildflower Latte'. Many appreciate the creative and delicious specialty drinks, highlighting a 'Sequim specialty drink' as perfectly balanced. The 'cute vibes' and the thoughtful offering of alternate dairy options are also frequently mentioned positively. While one review noted the coffee as 'so-so' and served in paper cups for dine-in, this appears to be an outlier.
