Not as good as they once were, but still worth stopping in. Service was exceptional, dishes were all hot to the table and tasty. Exterior could use a little love and new layout is somewhat cluttered looking. Maybe with time it will return to its former glory.

Me and my wife and 3 friends went to TJ Ribs for some happy hour drinks after going to see the new Michael Jackson movie. Had a great time both places. The food was very delicious. Our server was awesome also. We hadn't gone there in a long time. Glad we choice there for relaxing. Telling It Like it IS 👍👍👍 of 3 TerryB 🫡

We had a really great lunch at T J Ribs restaurant. The baby back ribs are some of the best I have ever eaten. The beef brisket appetizer was also delicious. The atmosphere is almost like a museum of LSU sports history. Our server was very friendly and attentive. A very nice experience.

3/27/26 Was craving smoked brisket and Turkey. Drove 45min from Laplace to BR to TJ Ribs. Got home ready to eat and I was very disappointed and upset! Spent $60 on 2(2) meat plates $27/ea. opened the boxes and I could not believe my eyes. Meat is discolored dry inedible. Like it was cooked a week ago. Definitely not fresh. Called restaurant was offered replacement meal. Why would I want to try anything else I want my money back! Please do better TJ ribs. If I could give -0 stars I would!

I went by around 4:30pm for my first ever visit. Tried the half rack of baby back ribs. Glad I didn't get the full rack for left overs. They were very dry and even had a hard shell of sauce on the outside. My only option was to chop up the meat with their bbq sauce to get some moisture. Mac and cheese tasted good but it was cold. I had high expectations as I've seen the restaurant busy when driving by. Maybe I was a bad day but for being TJ...RIBS... I thought for sure the ribs would be great. There was only one server in bar area and that was the bartender serving us drinks as well which explained the slow service with several customers. I'm still in search of good bbq in Baton Rouge.
