1st time my wife and I have ever been here… really blown away!
Mohammad , our server at our tabletop, was very very kind, knowledgeable, picked out a drink for me and I really enjoyed it, personable and funny and really made our first time here a great one.
-Gorgeous views (I’d recommend paying for the reserved table you’d like)
- food was very good! I’m a picky eater but the fries were light and crunchy, the split pea hummus was very refreshing
- calamari and Thai sauce was just what we needed.
- the gentleman at the front desk - dark skin, great green outfit, very cool glasses was very kind and informative about our seating arrangement and reservation considering we showed up an hour early and hoping to get our same spot.
Whenever in WILLIAMSBURG, this is a must go to for probably one of the best scenic views of the NYC skyline. We came here just for cocktails but they do offer food also. Staff was friendly, Bartenders on point. Great vibes and the music that was playing was good also.
Westlight was a great spot to spend the evening. The drinks were excellent, the service was solid, and the views are absolutely incredible. Watching the New York City skyline light up while seeing planes take off and land along the East River made for a unique experience.
If you’re looking for a rooftop with some of the best views in Brooklyn, Westlight is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere, cocktails, and scenery all came together for a memorable night.
Jasmine at the host stand was incredible. Extremely welcoming and had great energy to start off my first time there. I had no reservations and was trying to walk-in at around 4pm so it was starting to get busy. She got me in quickly. Michael was my server and he was great, kind and patient with me while it was my first time there so he talked me through the entire menu and gave me a few of his recommendations. Let me tell you… the food does NOT disappoint! It is incredible. Some places that have high rooftop views might skimp out on quality dishes, the Westlight does not. I highly recommend their shrimp dumplings! Honestly could’ve had about 5 orders of them. Also, their empanadas are a must-try, ask for a side of their house-made chipotle aioli sauce if you don’t order their fries! Lobster roll was really fresh, light for a lobster roll, it was good with their chipotle aioli sauce as well!
Stopped by Westlight and had a great time. The view alone is worth the visit, especially around sunset. The drinks were well made, the food was good, and the atmosphere felt relaxed but still upscale. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m in the area.
