We loved this place! The staff was really knowledgeable about gluten, which is always a major plus, and a lot of things could be made GF. The crab dip was topped with some fried onions, but they made sure I knew it was in a GF batter. Love that they were proactive about it.
The crab dip was phenomenal and a standout for me, but all of the food was delicious. I loved the tots, too. So cute! The drinks came quickly and were definitely strong - especially the frozen ones!! - so it seems like a great spot for happy hour, dinner, or really anything.
One other note is that this is a HUGE space. I was really surprised. It seemed like it just kept going! I'm sure it's not quite as open in the winter, but during the summer there was what seemed like an endless expanse with an outdoor bar, indoor area that seemed more closely tied to a nautical theme, and then an area with couches and other seating. You never felt like you were on top of other parties. A few people even had dogs that we didn't notice at first because it was so spread out, and we were there on a Friday early evening with near perfect weather for outdoor dining.
This is a must visit for sure, especially if you have a larger group and want to make sure you can find a spot.
I’ve now been by The Yacht Club twice and the first time I was shocked that it was almost empty but the second time a couple weeks ago, it seemed like word has gotten out.
Where else can you get a rooftop with amazing views and service right on the waterfront with amazing sunset views over the westside of Manhattan? Even as you enter the space with the security guard downstairs pointing you to the elevator which lets you out into an entrance that matches the nautical theme before strolling outside to the wraparound views from the roof-deck.
A host then escorts you to a table of your choice. I’ve chosen the outside tables as well as the indoor dining area tables but there’s a large bar with seating around it as well.
The place is massive, the service is attentive and the food is on point. Oysters, steak tartare and yacht tots are all standouts. The most recent time I visited there were large groups taking in the World Cup. Thought it was my little secret but glad people have caught on. Great place for groups of any size.

Atmosphere deserves a10! Amazing rooftop setting in a historic building. Phenomenal north, south and west views (sunset, anyone)?? 3 standout lobster options for all tastes (lobster frites attached). Creative drink selection, friendly service. Can't wait to return and try some of the other options.

We attended the 4th of July tall ship parade. The Yacht Club crew were amazing! I have been there several times before, and always found it to be excellent, but the 4th of July was a step above. Although it was very hot, the service never faltered. They were all attentive with a big smile. The food was great and abundant, The drinks were inventive and surprisingly good. We had an amazing experience that will never be forgotten.

At summer the top location - an amazing roof top Terrasse. Now in early spring less of a benefit.
We have booked well in advance and got a nice table with a view. The service was amazing.
The food - as you can see on the photos - was extremely well done, very tasty and exactly it what we were hoping for
The desserts were a dream !
Thank you for a real remarkable evening.
