wow! deep reverence for the producers of emilia romagna. a wonderful creative menu curated for a broader experience of the region’s great produce. We loved the creativity in the limited but superb menu - trust the experience. we had crusty bread with saffron butter; the most perfect radicchio olive and hazelnut salad; hommous elevated with parsley oil, yoghurt and fermented shitake mushroom (a umami explosion), a grilled lettuce salad and orso with fish eggs. Simply wonderful.
Food was lovely and the service was great! However the menu is pretty small so for those who have special diet requirements will need to be careful…
I personally don’t eat any red meat including duck and beef (not pork) but the menu only offered these two meat options and few veggies dishes… would be nice if there might be a fish option as a main?
Apart from that everything was lovely
Spectacular tasting menu. Five dishes that were beautiful and delicious. Our servers were attentive, friendly and awesome. A great find! Pro Tip: Reserve ahead of time.
Service was good. Wine was fine. But how you can charge 65 euro for this menu is beyond my belief. One of the dishes was a piece of lettuce and a puré - unacceptable at this price.
Everything was under salted except for the dessert.
The pasta with jam(???) did not work, and again, comes off as arrogant when you charge 65 euro.
When our group received the duck, the doneness ranged from raw to well done, indicating a lack of basic technique in the kitchen.
In a city so rich in culinary experiences I would stay away from this place - at least until the menu is changed.
This place was recommended by a friend and considering the price we had high expectations. The service was unfriendly and they served us a second glass of the most expensive wine without asking (which we paid for as it was too late to stop them mid-pour). One of the dishes was good (risoni with caviar) the cooked lettuce was bold but woeful, the duck was ok and they took the bread away before we had finished it. Well overpriced for the experience.
