From the moment we walked in, Carmel delivered an exceptional experience. Our waiter Brian was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming — every recommendation he made was spot on. It's rare to find that level of attentiveness and genuine care in a dining experience.
The General Manager, Coby, was also outstanding. He made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make the night special.
We were celebrating my wife's birthday and they absolutely made it a night to remember. The food was phenomenal — the caviar fries, chicken, and strawberry shortcake were all amazing. Each dish was better than the last.
And the value? I was blown away. Two drinks and a full meal for $120 — I honestly expected to pay much more for an experience of this caliber. Carmel gives you fine dining quality without the fine dining sticker shock.
After this visit, Carmel has easily earned a spot in my top three restaurants. We will definitely be back. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, exceptional service, and unbeatable value, look no further. Highly recommend!
Carmel, Carmel, Carmeeeell! 😩 The food is ALWAYS consistent and the customer service is always top notch!
We ordered one of each of the oysters, the caviar fries, bread with caviar butter, clearly I have a caviar problem 😂, and a Caesar salad. The caviar fries were ridiculous in the best way, and that bread with the caviar butter deserved its own moment. Before we knew it, the chef sent out complimentary mushrooms 😋.
From the bar, I had a Hugo Spritz and it was light, refreshing and exactly what I needed.
Our server, Ana, knew the menu really well and gave great suggestions. I was SO ready to order the okra because it used to be a staple for me, only to find out it’s no longer on the menu. Carmel… BRING. IT. BACK. 😭
My only complaint is the Buckhead parking, but that comes with the territory.
Consistent food, great service and caviar everywhere… I’ll absolutely be back. 😂

Carmel – Woodfire Seafood & Oyster Bar is a wonderful place for a weekend dinner.
The restaurant offers a great selection of fresh seafood. The Shrimp Scampi was incredibly fresh and sweet, with a rich, flavorful sauce. The Oysters Rockefeller were delicious, topped with melted cheese that perfectly complemented their natural sweetness. The Avocado Crab Salad, made with freshly steamed hand-picked crab meat, was excellent. The fish was also fresh, tender, and naturally sweet. Every dish was beautifully presented.
The restaurant features a spacious dining area with plenty of private corners, making it an ideal spot for dinner with close friends. The soft lighting and elegant décor create a warm, relaxing atmosphere.
The friendly and attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a truly wonderful dinner and would happily come back again.

The best experience ever! I came here to celebrate my birthday and WOW. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and on my table was a beautiful birthday card! The energy the entire night was amazing! My server was absolutely amazing, super attentive, kind, and really made me feel celebrated. The food was delicious and plated so nicely. The bar staff was amazing too! I was surprised with a birthday dessert and that personal touch along with the card honestly meant so much to me and made my whole night. The lychee martini was bomb too!! I already know i'll be back and probably a regular! lol

The service was great however, the waiter raved about almost everything so it wasn’t exactly a realistic, and some of the food we tried did not live up to the hype. Sort of expected more from the milk buns, it was just one pull-apart bun with togarashi butter for $8, but it was tasty. The caviar fries were cold. I love shoestring fries, but I don’t know if it’s because the hollandaise sauce is cold, but I just didn’t enjoy eating them. It’s best to eat with a fork though because it can be a little messy. The broccolini was amazing. The puréed mashed potatoes were nice, but nothing spectacular. The mango sorbet was very rich, they didn’t offer us other desserts though for the birthday, not sure if we had a choice. Seafood was good overall but the sauces had a not very pleasant aftertaste. If I go back it will be to try the oysters and cocktails.
