Great little place in Rio Rancho for Mediterranean good. Service was funny, kind and attentive. Greek salad was tasty with a great dressing. The gyro was a little dry but the sauces made up for that. The chicken swarma was flavorful but what stood out was the chicken kabob, will be going back for this. The kabob was well marinated and so juicy. Topped the night off with has to be some of the best pistachio baklava I have ever had... perfect serving to share!
New: The service was excellent despite only one person running the front of the house, hosting, seating, serving, and, bussing. The food was excellent, very fresh. I did not ask for the free meal, but the Dolmas were on the house. Will return!
Original: This place will have a 1 star rating until I can actually try it out. Hours posted on website and Google are incorrect. I visited this place during posted open hours, but the door was locked and lights were off. I called the place, but no answer.
We’re can I start the food was amazing the staff were great by the way especially Moad I think that’s how spell but he was one of the headrest working man in there till the father shows up Moad was taking order and his dad told him take the stuff down the car he told one minute till I finish taking this order and his father lost his mind and started going crazy on him but anyways I’ll be going back there whenever the father is not there but if the father is there, I’m automatically getting up and walk away. I’m sorry.
Saturday at 1pm, not too busy and was seated almost immediately. Server was great and came back enough times but not overwhelmingly. He helped us answer some questions as well and was very knowledgeable. Food came quick as well, which was a definite plus. Price for 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, and a large Turkish coffee was very reasonable and around 30 dollars. Great place and definitely recommended.
So I didn’t think I’d find the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever tasted in Rio Rancho , but here I am, shocked. This was truly the most delicious, flavorful food I’ve had in a while. Best falafels ever. Great service and seemed like I was in someone’s home eating their amazing freshly made meal. 10/10.
