I had to change my previous 5-star review after a very disappointing experience. I was sitting at a table eating a sandwich purchased from this branch and waiting for a menu to order more, but instead of being served, the staff were rude and unprofessional.
I was then asked to leave in a disrespectful manner, which is completely unacceptable. Customers should be treated with equal respect regardless of how they’re dressed — wearing work clothes is not a reason for poor treatment.
This experience has completely changed my impression. Management should seriously address staff behavior and ensure basic customer service standards are followed.
After an early morning meeting i headed out looking for somewhere to enjoy my first meal of the day. I am travelling for work and not familiar with the area so I took a stroll trying to see where locals were enjoying. Bonne Bouche caught my eye as many patrons were there and the menu had a lot of great options. I decided to select a seat indoors and was greeted immediately. My order was taken quickly and my meal came out hot and fresh. Lovely little spot and delicious food.
Rude service and below average food. Much better spending your money at Paul Rothe nearby, which has lovely service and delicious sandwiches!
I got given the wrong sandwich, not knowing the nicknames they use to call out when there is a lunch rush, realised when I took a bite and it didn't have the ingredients I wanted (it was dry/ plain as pictured), returned to swap it with another sandwich and was told it was my fault for taking the wrong sandwich and there was nothing they could do. Also followed up by email and got a disingenuous reply clearly written by ChatGPT. I won't be returning!
Lovely medium sized cafe. I had a Pecan Pie and a Flat White with Oat Milk. The pie was delicious and the coffee good and strong. Good value too e.g., the Oat Milk was not extra. Excellent service. Very clean toilets.
