We had a small party at the first floor.
Although the service was a bit slow and starters a bit bland, focacca was absolutely fantastic, waiters very friendly and professional.
Main dishes beef and cod were super tasty.Tiramisy was exactly how I make it,pannacotta with rhubarb was a dream come through.
Recommeded indeed.
A New Years Eve visit to finish the year was the reason for the visit.
From the moment we stepped inside we were met with professionalism and courtesy.
The restaurant was not overly busy which made for a pleasant atmosphere.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food was delicious, nicely portioned and despite only having our table for 2 hours we were not rushed.
Other patrons who had theatre tickets were served and dispatched in plenty of time to get to their performance.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant when in the Covent Garden locality.
It's not cheap (other cheaper Italian restaurants are closer), worth every penny.
Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
We had a great time, helped massively by the attentive, friendly service provided by the bar man (I’m afraid I didn’t catch his name - had long-ish hair)
Only reason for marking ambience down is that it was a little quiet. We were very late dining - which was planned as we’ve been wanting to try the night cap menu for some time. £15 Pasta and £5 negronis. Unbelievable value!
Everything was excellent, and we’ll definitely be back.
Reduced set menu (due I imagine to the festive season)... sadly only two of the three choices available
Asked waitress for advice given just two options for each course (take it or leave it????😂)
Said waitress did not listen, spoke over me. made assumptions about mine and my guest's choices and was nowhere near as professional as her colleagues. (The person greeting us and the other person serving our table were wonderful)
Food wise, the Ragu starter was extremely salty, the venison Ragu a tad dry, the polenta wonderful.
I've been to Murano Marlybone so this was a bit of a letdown....I won't book first day after the festivities again
I had a wonderful birthday meal in the Pastificio private dining space in Cafe Murano. You won't find a lovelier, more decadent feeling, intimate space in the whole Covent Garden, Soho, Chinatown, Fitzrovia area (and I did the research beforehand). The table looked beautiful, the waitress kept the drinks and the food going and everyone was impressed with the lovely ambience and feeling. It was like having our own private restaurant right in the middle of the West End. I couldn't have been happier with the evening and I am usually quite difficult to please but it surpassed my expectations. Thank you so much to all the staff who helped with their advice and guidance before and during. I would unequivocally recommend this venue to anyone who wants a unique, beautifully presented, private space for that special celebration.
