Good food at a reasonable price point.
We ordered the mushrooms, which were very tasty, albeit slightly on the salty side. The menu stated they were served on toasted sourdough; however, it was not quite like a bruschetta, as the bread became rather soggy due to the generous amount of sauce (oil and wine).
We also tried the pork belly ribs, chicken piri piri, green vegetables, and roasted potatoes. The chicken was well prepared and served on the bone, with a generous coating of chilli oil. If any parts were slightly dry, the chilli oil worked well as a dip. The potatoes were not my favourite, but the green vegetables were very good. Overall, the dishes were quite garlicky. I personally enjoyed this, although it may not be ideal if you are planning to go on a date afterwards.
The service was very good and attentive. One of us had a food allergy, and a member of staff kindly came over to double-check the details, which was much appreciated!
