We had an amazing experience at Catira! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food was excellent. We chose Catira to celebrate our 8-year anniversary, and it was the perfect place.
The staff was exceptional… friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our visit. The food was delicious, and my husband, who is Venezuelan, was especially impressed by the authenticity of the dishes and flavors.
One thing that always stands out to me is cleanliness, and the bathrooms were spotless. I know that may not matter to everyone, but to me it says a lot about how an establishment is managed and how much attention they pay to the details.
Thank you for helping make our anniversary celebration so special. We will definitely be back!
If you are looking for something new, fresh, and date night different, Catira is for you. Yeah, you can get pub grub anywhere at anytime. But if you want something truly delightful, that will make you feel like you have traveled to a tropical destination, you owe it to yourself to dine here. This is not a chain. It is locally owned and managed businesses by a husband and wife whose story of how they met and came up with the idea for this restaurant is alone worth the trip. But while you're there sipping your favorite cocktail and devouring the Emapanda sampler you will find yourself getting lost in all of the tantalizing flavors that you have to choose from. I had the Pabellon Criollo, and I must say it is one of the best I've had anywhere. My wife, Canadian born and raised, had never much paid attention to the world of Latin cuisine, but after enjoying the Blondie Arepa, she has been begging me to take her back to Catira. You know how they say that nothing in this world is perfect, well Catira comes close but I do have to point out one flaw. I shared this with Manuel, the owner, and I will share it with you so that you cannot say you have not been warned, and that flaw is...the food "tiene sabor a poco." The English translation...the food, "tastes like not enough!" Hahaha! #HolaCatira #LiveRemarkably

Food was good! Very minimal standing space for waiting and no clear guidance on how long you’ll wait. Even though a group came in after us and were sat at the bar, we waited probably 30 minutes for dinner.
I liked the empanada sampler, but I loved the classic plate 8.5/10 and the papelón con limón juice was delicious !
Asado negro was okay 7/10.

Food was very delicious and filling. We had a blondie empanada, classic arepa, and las Palmas salad and started with the recommended appetizer cachapa.
Manuel is the owner and was our server. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time and enjoyed the music and atmosphere. Beautiful space! We will be going back very soon!
Thank you!

Man was so excited to come here. Service was good, ambiance was cool, bathroom is a party. We had the cachapa it was good. The empanada trio lacked flavor, Tequenos were ok. Yuca was a tad undercooked. Not sure if I’ll go bk.
