I came recently as it was a nice day outside and wanted something to snack on. I ordered the Fabo's Nachos with champechano (which is a combo of chorizo and steak). The food didn't take long to come out and was decent. Their hot sauce was good as it did give a little kick.
This was my first time there, on Saturday. I have tried many other food carts and this is by far the best experience. The street tacos, quesadillas the birria everything on the menu appears to be all excellent. Basically everything there is very authentic and made with care, the process is very simple, courteous, friendly easy going experience. The sauces very good as well and a nice atmosphere has a very positive vibe.I spoke with one employee I believe her name was Nydia ? She was very informative and gave great suggestions on what to try... and she is very nice, I would highly recommend this experience, I would assume they would have a sit in restaurant eventually as I think this could really take off
Do not eat here, or at least don’t order quesatacos they barely has meat, plus no flavor, all greasy without a reason, salsas also without “sazón”. Just plain “Mexican style” beef and pork, I wouldn’t call this pastor or asada.
Only the consomé was tasty, but they gave it to me cold so not even with that I can save you guys sorry.
Rice and beans were fine tho, maybe just eat sides?
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We have ordered food on two different occasions and asked for an ingredient to be left off. Twice they have made the item with the ingredient that was requested to be removed and when we approached them to correct the issue they argued with us on both occasions saying they cannot remake the item. They continued to argue that we ordered it wrong. Apparently if you do not use the exact phrasing they want they will completely ignore your requests and then argue with you about it. I don’t honestly know how I could have been more clear. Asking them to leave off an ingredient is pretty basic and if for some reason they cannot or will not honor that request they should explain that before charging us for the order.
The first time this happened we chose to believe that the person was simply having a bad day and not to hold it against the business. This time it was a different employee working and she was also just as rude and argumentative. This will be the last time we give them any of our money. There are too many other good options to continue supporting this business.
Edited to respond to the owner’s comments:
The owner’s response completely explains why the employees themselves can’t be bothered with customer service. To try and frame a customer coming up and trying to get a mistake corrected as “charging up” and “intimidating” is completely ridiculous. When the ownership responds with blatant lies you know you’ve made the right decision to review it poorly and avoid.
Looks like the owner responded again…and again, it’s just nonsense. To claim a customer intentionally ordered something they don’t want…Absolutely ridiculous and honestly, at this point all I can do is laugh at how badly they’ve handled every aspect of this situation.
