Absolutely fantastic experience! We started with the special small plate fried green tomatoes, and they were incredible. They are known for their garlic fries, and they definitely don’t skimp—they come in a massive, family-sized bowl and are totally worth it. For my main, I had the avocado toast, and it was absolute heaven. Highly recommend this spot!
He had steak(ordered med rare came med well but had good flavor) eggs(cooked as ordered), and potatoes(good). We shared the humus which was super good on the crackers and carrots. I had the pizza and paid extra for sausage. It had good crust with decent topping. Pesto was bland and not good on it. We had reservations but will not be back because of the material they had hanging in their window that was announced relationships desires. Does that have to be announced and displayed? There wasnt even a piece of material that represented the country the lived in. The staff was super nice and will look up the history of the building because it was cool. Did not like coming out to a bunch of people yelling to get rid of employees instead of the laws they enforce but love they were staying on the sidewalk. The beer on tap was amazing. Had a creamy flavor.
Lugar burger was good- the meat was great and well seasoned. The bacon was tough and really rubbery.
The salad was full of goodies, but the kale wasn’t seasoned or dressed enough. The chicken was tough.
The chicken leek soup had good flavor, but I got some bones
The potato salad was perfectly seasoned
The service was attentive and friendly
First timer and Jenna our server was fantastic, excellent Bison burger and house fries were little spicy but good. Chicken dish with mushrooms was very good as well. BRAVO

Lovely evening at Farm on a Friday night. We were able to sit outside and really take in Bloomington before a play at the IU Auditorium. Our server was exceptional and made the night. He was previously on the radio and our companions could definitely tell when he was speaking with us and had to ask, and yep they were right. He was polite, attentive and knew the menu which was extremely helpful since this was our first time.
The inside of the restaurant is cute and eclectic. Restrooms were clean which is always a plus in my book.
Food: we all had drinks, I had the dirty dancing which was sweet but good (I am generally a bourbon girl). We had to get the chili garlic bowl of fries and they did not disappoint with the tumeric aoili! We ate the entire bowl between the four of us. Dinner included the Margarita pizza for myself and the rest of the table had the Fennel Salmon, BLT and the lasagna. No one was disappointed. The food was great.
PROS:
Cute inside and outside (love the outdoor area)
Farm to Table (the waiter laid out where items were from that day)
Pizza was a great size and the crust was excellent
Lots of drinks and bottles of bourbon
CONS:
Parking- we parked in the paid lot across the street which was easy, but not free as there is no dedicated parking
Overall, a win! Great night, great ambience and great food.
