The Elm Taven is new to the Chelsea Hotel, but Shovon is not! I have been coming to the Chelsea for many years with my daughter, for health reasons, and every time we are back, the all of the staf are always so welcoming, but Shovon always goes the extra mile to make sure you are well served!! He is kind! He is efficient, he is knowledgeable and he makes sure you leave the tavern with a smile and feeling like you were really taken care of! He knows my daughters medical history and truly cares to know how she is doing each time we are back in the city for her appointments. Behind the bar, most evenings, you will also fint Oleg (hope I spelled that right)... and he too makes sure you are well taken care of, and he always has a listening ear!
The food is exceptional! The drinks are devine, and the staff are the best Ive ever known, anywhere! I highly recommend visiting the Elm Tavern if you are in the area!
Had a great experience at The Elm Tavern! The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting, making it a perfect spot for drinks or a casual meal with friends.
My highlights were definitely the Toastie and the Pink Drink. The Toastie was packed with flavour and incredibly satisfying, while the Pink Drink was refreshing, beautifully presented, and the perfect complement to the meal.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe made me want to stay longer. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!
A real gem. I've been twice, both times sat at the bar and the food and service have been exceptional. However note: they don't start serving lunch until 11:30 AM, not 11:00 AM as is indicated on their website. They stop serving breakfast at 11:00 AM and then take half an hour to prepare for lunch.
Edit: I just noticed the incorrect 11:00 AM lunch for Elm Tavern is shown on the Chelsea Hotel website (the location of Elm Tavern) and OpenTable. The Elm's own website correctly lists 11:30 AM.
June 18th I Came here last night with some friends for my birthday dinner ! Been staying at hotel for conference room 445 . Ordered the ribeye, 75.oo and when I asked for onions to be added to my order they told me they had none! I pressured the waitress and she told me the cook wouldn’t do it ! I don’t know a kitchen in North America that doesn’t have onions! What a corporate joke! Just want you in and out and no real heart or service!
