Solid beers and good food. Their WC IPAs are tasty. The pretzel and black bean burger with bacon were delicious too.
Also, I know what you’re thinking… black bean burger ADD bacon?! Adding pork to a veggie burger…. Who would do such a thing? Me. I did. It was delicious. I’d do it again. You should too.
The beer here is pretty good, food is a bit better. Outside area is great during the warmer months, but there can be a lot of kids running around.
Some of the staff seems unhappy. One guy in particular rolls his eyes a lot. We come to Headlands a lot, almost once per week, and I cringe anytime I have to order a beer from him in particular because he’s so grumpy. Other than that, usually enjoy our time there.

Fantastic selection of beer, wine, & food from their grill. Be sure to try one of their renown Smash Burgers, vegan burger, or their vegan Brat sausage plate! Good vibe, lively ambience, with a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options, plus some fire pits. A favorite East Bay brewery!

Good beer, good vibes, lots of outdoor space. Can get crowded, especially weekend afternoons! With lots of people, parking can be a nightmare too on weekends. Burgers are decent but not amazing in any way, definitely taste better after a few brews! Dog friendly brewery so there are always lots of dogs which I love. Live music Sundays 1PM!
Good beer, but OK food.

I've been hitting both the Lafayette and WC locations since Lafayette opened. Let's start with a brief nod to the brewer or brewers. I've been drinking IPAs since wandering into a pizza place in Solano Beach, maybe 1992? Swami. Loving Headlands, Alcatraz is a go-to. But today? The usual routine, hit the track for a workout and finish with nachos in Lafayette. And, surprise, surprise, there were Barbara and Jay for vocal and guitars. Haven't seen them perform for some time, but remember them as being among Diablo Valley's most accomplished musicians. Kudos, Headlands, and thank you!
