Located across from Chase. Went on Sat. Evening parking was no problem on the street. Found this place because the owner won 1st place seafood contest; stuffed flounder. So I wanted to taste, but it was not available that was disappointing. Waitress was great, see her picture. All items are small portions, don't go there to get full, thus the name TAPAS. Lamb sliders are good. Inside is a nice place for a date or drinks at the bar with friends. Hugh screen was
Ideal to watch FIFA soccer game. Cute place. **your bill will have added gratuity and extra charge if you use credit card.
Pamplona Tapas Bar & Restaurant never disappoints! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing evening. The ambiance strikes the ideal balance between upscale and comfortable, making it a wonderful place to enjoy great food and even better company.
A special thank you to our server, Emily, who made our experience exceptional. She was incredibly informative, genuinely kind, attentive, and had impeccable timing throughout the evening. Her knowledge of the menu and thoughtful recommendations made us feel like valued guests. She truly embodies what outstanding hospitality should be.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish arrived hot, beautifully prepared, and served at just the right pace, allowing us to savor each course without ever feeling rushed. We shared the Bacon Wrapped Dates, Ciabatta Loaf, Escargot, Roasted Beet & Smoked Goat Cheese, Fried Calamari, Charbroiled Oysters, and the Mac-N-Smoked Gouda. Each plate was bursting with flavor and showcased the kitchen's attention to detail. The charbroiled oysters were a standout—rich, buttery, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. From the sweet and savory richness of the bacon-wrapped dates to the creamy, smoky indulgence of the Mac and smoked Gouda, every bite was memorable.
The cocktails were just as impressive. The Strawberry Mule was refreshing with the perfect balance of sweetness and spice, while the Plum Crazy was creative, smooth, and beautifully crafted.
Outstanding food, exceptional service, and an inviting atmosphere—Pamplona continues to set the bar for fine dining in Lafayette. This visit reminds us why it's one of our new favorite restaurants. We left already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Emily, for making an already incredible meal truly unforgettable!!

Holy cow.. so good! Nothing was too salty... everything was balanced.. special mention to the "phyllo" type papas bravas (patatas) and the mixologists... fresher is better and this place delivers.. the escargot were tender, bacon wrapped dates, mushrooms in their sauce.... mmmm i guess you could just throw some darts at the menu and never go wrong. Not posting food photos... come around and find out...

Took my daughter for a celebratory dinner. Waitress caught the fancy clothes vibe and made my girl feel special too. Lamb sliders, the risotto balls, and that loaf of bread... Well worth it. Oh and the almond cake w blueberries was a nice ending. Great date night.

watch out for the 20% automatic gratuity even if you’re two people dining- my total was $93.81 after tax and i left a $20 cash tip and they still charged my card for another $15 two days later resulting in about 40% tip for themselves. This was not noted on my receipt or menu at all and is illegal. Food was good but we were seated at a very cold area and right against a dirty closet/wall. Were initially told that all the other tables were reserved when the restaurant was mostly empty. place was so cold we couldn’t enjoy our anniversary dinner, we were able to move to a better table halfway through the date. Paella was delicious but all in all not returning.
