Great place for poke bowls and starters. Delicious and flavorful some with a kick due to the jalapeños. Pork dumplings were amazing - a must-get option. They the the brown sugar bolba popsicles in the freezer case. These have been hard to find so don't pass those up.
Service was outstanding - friendly and helpful. Wish more restaurants were like this.

You will not beat the quality of fish served here. True sashimi/nigiri lovers, this is the spot. We’ve been coming here since opening, and cannot overstate the laid back vibe, 10/10 fish, quality sushi rice (iykyk), and excellent / quick service. Not pretentious, not a million dollars - just the best spot in Portland! The owners (two corgis) welcome you with the opportunity for a solid belly rub.

This is my favorite sushi, and favorite restaurateurs in Portland. Deeply caring about food, freshness, quality, and our happiness.
We love this place so much that we come here on most of our birthdays.
Always try whatever the team tells you to. I’ve never been disappointed.

I used to visit this restaurant years ago, and it was so good! Then they moved...then they moved back! And I stopped by today, after quite a long absence since it isn't really in my neighborhood...and they changed up the whole menu! They have a bunch of delicious bowls, and fun tasting plates, and still have amazing flavors. The bowls even have a brown rice option! My husband and I both got the spicy bowl. It was excellent! We will be putting this place in our regular routine now that it is pretty close to both of our respective workplaces. It's a great brunch place, and an awesome after work date spot. Also everything is very cute, and dog themed, and the staff is amazing. Highly recommend!

Been ordering here for years, even followed them when they moved locations but my family is so happy they’re back! Their consistency has always been top notch and is what keeps my family and I ordering again. Perfectly cooked flavorful rice, fresh fish, and finger licking sauces, and delicious ingredients. Our favorites are the poke bowls (which you can get substitutions for! My parent’s fav is the salmon bowl sub with Tuna) but the rolls are just as fantastic. If you’re looking for quality Japanese cuisine but at a more relaxed and casual dine in experience, this is your place. They have a really cute dine in area with lots of snack and drink options. Or order to go! They’re usually super fast!
