Ugh I LOVE this place. The chefs know what they are DOINGG. And the service is phenomenal. Such an cute intentional space. Indoor and Outdoor seating. It is an old bank so they have seating in the vault as well. I’ve come for breakfast and for happy hour and I’ve been blownnn away each time. The flavors are indescribable and the combinations they make of flavors is so unique and mind blowing. I always look forward to going here. I do wish the happy hour menu was larger and or a shorter time period.
Foode was one of the highlights of our visit to Fredericksburg! We were lucky enough to sit in the unique Vault Room, which made the dining experience even more memorable. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The buttermilk biscuit was perfectly flaky, the smoothie bowl was refreshing, the watermelon salad was light and delicious, and the vegan tacos were packed with flavor. We also loved the eggplant dish and the flatbread—each plate had its own unique twist and tasted amazing.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Whether you're looking for brunch or a relaxed meal with creative, locally inspired food, Foode is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!

Me and my friend visited for the first time the other day. We went for restaurant week and loved the items we ate. I had meatloaf and my friend had the chicken fried steak. Both items were great and we loved the sides as well. The winter vegetable mix was my favorite as well as the black eyed peas. Make reservations, otherwise you may have to sit at the bar. The place happen to have some entertainment and that was also great.

We were so happy to discover this gem during our overnight stop just off I-95. Finding a restaurant this good while traveling felt like striking gold!
The food was truly impressive—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations, making it far more than just a convenient stop along our journey.
The setting is just as memorable as the food. Housed in a beautifully restored old bank building, the restaurant has so much character and charm. It creates a unique dining experience that's both elegant and welcoming.
We'll definitely plan to return the next time we're passing through.

First time here, came for brunch, they were booked so we sat at the bar.
Nice options on the menu, I ordered the scramble of the day and my husband ordered the steak tacos. My scramble came with mushrooms, spinach and cheese. Along with a side of potatoes. It was delicious, I couldn't finish it all so I have some for later.
Hubby enjoyed the steak tacos. Which came with a side of scrambled eggs.
He loves a good mocktail so he ordered the the Mocktail in a pear tree. I had to try it because it looked so inviting, it's fruity and delicious.
I noticed they have a nice top shelf spirits selection as well at the bar.
We definitely plan to come back the next time we are in the area.
Don't miss this treat!
