My dinner companions are residents of Fredericksburg and frequent diners. When I left Fort Worth today I texted my friends that I wanted to go to Martini’s at some point this visit. They thought tonight would be best, before the weekend crowd. I was a little late so we arrived to Martini’s a little after 5 and they were packed. We waited a short 20 minutes for a table and were promptly greeted by our waitress, Kali. She took great care of us and gave us updates on timing for our two dozen oysters. She refilled drinks quickly and was super friendly. Not Kali’s fault at all but our martinis were not as cold as usual but we worked around it and still enjoyed our cocktails, Summer Love & Patriot Oysters, jumbo shrimp cocktail, New England Clam and Mussel Pot, Barramundi, Snow Crab Leg Platter, and Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc. Wonderful dinner with friends tonight.
We were recommended Martini’s by family and we are so happy we listened! Cass was our server and she made sure we were well taken care of. Such fresh seafood and serving sizes were appropriate for the pricing. We will be visiting again in the future!
A great spot tucked away off the main Street in Fredericksburg! The interior of the building fits the seafood vibe, classy old world, meets east coast. It's small, but cozy. (It can also get really loud inside). I loved seeing the oysters being shucked through the front windows. They offer a great bourbon selection, and mocktails too!! (I reccomend the mojito mocktail, super refreshing!). The service was quick to answer any questions and offer suggestions! Our food tasted fresh and delicious! The raw options were a perfect on a hot day! The spicy lobster roll was also fantastic! Don't skip Martinis when you're in Fredericksburg!!
The food and atmosphere was phenomenal! The ceviche was flavorful and a perfect start to the meal. My friends had the steakhouse salad and another friend and I split the calamari and shrimp scampi. I highly suggest getting several dishes and sharing so you can try more than one thing.
Jeremy was an amazing bartender and server! He made us feel right at home. He pushed us out of our comfort zone but coming up with a creative drink for us on his own. He recommend the right amount of food for us and did not try to upsell us on more food. We got the one tier seafood tower and it was plenty of food for 2. We loved the ambiance and would definitely come back!
PS extra shout out Kali!
