This was our second visit to Friedman’s—and our first at this location—but the experience was just as fantastic.
We had the Korean Sticky Chicken Wings again, and wow… they’re some of the best wings I’ve had anywhere. The fact that they’re gluten-free makes them even more impressive. We also ordered the gluten-free mac & cheese bites, which were a huge hit with the kids.
The kids all built their own burgers with different toppings, and we also tried the fish tacos and the chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh, and absolutely delicious.
The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and took extra care with our daughter’s celiac disease. That peace of mind means everything to our family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wanted a quick brunch visit so we stopped by Friedmans and were not disappointed! Service was very quick and the food came out when quicker! I got the latke with smoked salmon and poached eggs, it was incredible. Eggs were perfect and it was a big portion for the price, especially in new york city. Most of the menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free so if you have an allergy or are celiac its a great option!
Disappointed in this Friedman’s location. Been a big fan of Friedman’s for years. I usually go to the Edison Hotel location but I have been to others as well.
The quality and value of the food at this location in particular was noticeably worse than the others.
Their Mac and cheese is half the size of the other locations (for the same price) and their B.L.A.T. sandwich was.. for lack of a better word.. anemic. It looked like it needed to be on life support. And the bacon was burnt to a crisp.
The service was also very poor. I don’t think the waitress even smiled once and I didn’t really feel welcome there.
Very disappointing overall compared to the other locations.
Really good breakfast. We came here last minute because a reservation was cancelled so we quickly arrived and were seated immediately. The food is really good, from the pancakes to the eggs Benedict.
I do have to mention, it’s a little noisy and the time I went the bathroom was locked and for some reason they didn’t give reason why. Nonetheless, the food was great!
Everything we tried was excellent! It was all flavorful, hot, and fresh.
Excellent care for allergens - the menu is clearly marked and GF items come out with a toothpick, so there's no second guessing whether an item is safe for gluten allergies.
The lemon pancakes were so delicious, I was surprised at home much I liked them! They had a great texture.
The nova benny (salmon eggs benedict) was very flavorful and well made. I loved the latke instead of bread. It was crispy and a great balance to the flavors of the other elements.
The fried chicken and waffles can be made GF. The chicken was crispy and also had a great flavor! It is bones-in which makes it a little harder to eat with a knife and fork which it abnormal for chicken and waffles, but still really good.
