Impeccable service and great staff.
Came for the Sunday roast and I must say that their starters were excellent. The tomato dish and fish were just perfect. In contrast, their Sunday roast isn’t the best. You’re better off going to a pub, since I guess that’s where you should traditionally take your Sunday roast. The meat were a bit too salty to my liking and the Yorkshire isn’t as crispy as I’d like. It feels like they’re trying to take Sunday roast to the next level but I guess Sunday roast just isn’t that kind of food.
Came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary. At the time, I was pregnant and all of the staff went the extra mile to cater to my need, even without me specifically asking. They’d check all of the ingredients, provide extra care with food, and politely pointed out the toilet that can be accessed without climbing the huge flight of stairs.
They also made us a little card with some chocolates which were a nice touch. I’d come back for their tasting menu for sure! Very well deserved of their Michelin!
Great ambience, highly recommend it for any birthday or anniversary celebrations. Truly value for money for such their great services and high tier food quality. Tried the summer tasting menu pairing with various wine which put us on the moon! Shame on me wearing jeans even though the restaurant never asks for any special dress code, still feel like wanting to dress up to fit in such a glamorous place and the waitstaff! Will definitely revisit for another seasonal menu 😋

A birthday dinner that genuinely felt special ✨
Came here for my birthday dinner and was lucky enough to experience their limited-time 5-course Summer Experience for £50.
First impressions? The place is absolutely divine—honestly, even more beautiful in person than in the photos. I personally loved the interior and the overall atmosphere.
The staff were also so lovely, accommodating and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable. I’m especially grateful that they were able to accommodate my booking request and seat us at such a beautiful table overlooking the entire restaurant. It truly felt like a special little birthday moment, and you can see the view from our table in the photos. 🥹✨
As for the food, there were a couple of dishes where I found the flavours a little too overpowering for my personal taste. But that’s purely down to preference, because my friend actually really enjoyed them!
What I especially loved was the lighting and ambience. It wasn’t too dark or overly bright, so I was actually able to take some really nice photos without struggling with the lighting. The warm, cosy atmosphere made the whole experience feel intimate and special—perfect for a birthday dinner.
Beautiful setting, lovely service and a memorable birthday experience. 🤍

We visited for our anniversary and had a very pleasant experience overall.
The service was warm, attentive and genuinely caring. The team acknowledged our anniversary with a lovely card, a personalised chocolate plaque and petit fours, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The dining room itself is beautiful and creates a special atmosphere.
We ordered the nettle soup, quail salad, chicken ballotine, courgette escabeche and baba au tiramisu.
Unfortunately, the food was not to our taste. The nettle soup, quail salad and chicken ballotine were all noticeably over-seasoned, with salt often dominating the flavour rather than enhancing it. The courgette escabeche was extremely acidic, with so much vinegar that it overwhelmed the courgette itself.
The baba au tiramisu was enjoyable and theatrical, but for us it did not quite justify the price.
There was also a small mix-up with the coffee. We asked for it to be served with dessert, but it arrived early, was taken away, the dessert then arrived sooner than expected, and we had to wait for the coffee again. The staff handled the situation professionally.
The biggest disappointment was the Union coffee. The menu description sounded very promising, but both coffees lacked aroma and complexity, with bitterness being the dominant flavour. The decaf was actually better than the regular coffee, but neither cup reflected the tasting notes described on the menu.
We left with fond memories of the hospitality and the occasion itself, but the food snd coffee
did not quit live up to the standard set by the service and atmosphere.

I recently visited La Chapelle Galvin for Sunday lunch and had a fantastic experience. The food was exquisite, full of incredible flavours and beautifully prepared. The Sunday roast was outstanding and is something I would definitely recommend. The restaurant also ensured everything was accessible and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable.
The service was excellent throughout, especially from Miroslava, who was engaging, polite, funny and attentive, adding a lovely personal touch to the experience. The highlight of the meal was definitely the apple tarte tatin, absolutely delicious and a must-try dessert. Overall, an amazing dining experience that I would happily recommend.
