The rave reviews of Golden Diner are absolutely deserved. You often hear it’s the place to find the best pancakes in the city—and it’s true. They are light, fluffy, and incredibly flavorful, with syrup and a hint of lemon zest that make every bite a delight.
We also tried the Korean fried chicken wings and loved them. They were perfectly crispy, with a well-balanced crust and a sweet and spicy glaze—truly delicious.
Finally, we ordered the Chicken Katsu Club, and once again, Golden Diner delivered. Every bite was satisfying: the chicken was perfectly fried, and the red cabbage added a fresh, crunchy contrast.
Would we order the same dishes again? Absolutely. In fact, we’re already looking forward to coming back soon—this meal was that memorable.
One small note: you may want to ask the staff not to bring all the dishes at once, as they can cool down while you’re enjoying them one at a time.
Without a doubt, Golden Diner is worth a visit—you won’t be disappointed and will leave with an unforgettable dining experience.

Great little spot! My hubby wanted to check it out from seeing it on social media a few times so we decided to visit while on a trip. I got the honey butter pancakes (double) and my hubby got the wings. The food was pretty good! The pancakes were super fluffy, reminded me of like jiffy batter maybe and had a lemon garnish, a nice touch! They were very satisfying I could say! The waitlist was pretty long, so best to reserve ahead of time if they let you. We waited an hour n a half so we’re like, it’s gotta be good and worth the wait! We did get a counter/bar seat which was kind of cool because I got to watch a lot of the kitchen staff make some cool stuff like sandwiches like the chicken katsu club. One thing I can say, though is the actual server never really made an attempt to talk to us or see how we were doing if we needed anything which we did sometimes so I do kind of wish the service was better, the girl out front taking reservations was kind though I can say. I know it’s a busy city and I’m on vacation from Florida so I’m just probably being picky but overall was pretty good. The prices were really good in my opinion and you really do get pretty big portions. They also had outdoor seating we believe but we had been running so we just wanted to get inside to some AC but glad we stopped in.

This diner is very popular so we had to wait to be seated for 1hr and 30 mins so if you’re planning to go make reservations or go earlier than planned to keep in mind the wait time. The food is great, I ordered the honey butter pancakes which you can get a single($12) or a double($18). I got a double but I wasn’t able to eat it all. The pancake over all was delicious, I also ordered the 2 eggs with home fries and I added sausage. The home fries were like crispy smashed tots which was really yummy the plate also comes with toast, very delicious plate. My friend ordered the Korean wings (DELISHHHH! Crispy with a kick of spicy) and my sister had the burger, both were very very delicious. I wasn’t expecting the food to be that great but it exceeded my expectations. The staff is friendly and I sat at their outdoor seating, despite it being really hot and humid that day we were kept cool by the fan they had above the table.

Absolutely the best pancakes I've ever had in my life! They have a subtle hint of lemon that makes them incredibly unique and unforgettable. The honey butter is absolutely amazing and takes them to another level.
The club sandwich is outstanding as well—easily one of the best I've ever had. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.
Highly, highly recommended! I can't wait to come back.

Golden Diner absolutely lived up to the hype! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. We had the famous pancakes, and they were hands down some of the best we’ve ever had—light, fluffy, perfectly golden, and topped with a rich, delicious syrup. Every bite was worth the wait!
The staff was friendly and attentive, and despite how busy they were, the service was excellent. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for breakfast or brunch.
If you’re in NYC, Golden Diner is definitely a must-visit. We’ll absolutely be back to try more of the menu! 🍽️🥞👏
