Not sure how we’ve gone this long in the Israel food scene without coming to Grill Room but WOW. Probably the best food we’ve had anywhere. From the creative cocktails to the grilled fish in citrus cilantro sauce and fish cake appetizers, to the sous vide Denver steak and fillet steak to the 12 layer Valrhona chocolate cake . Exceptional cuisine, incredible service, elegant atmosphere. Michelin level experience.

The service was really outstanding. All the dishes were really well made. The king was the tomahawk that was really premium. I really warmly recommend the place and for sure we will come again.

We visited on a Friday night, and even though the place was packed to capacity, the atmosphere was fantastic. Despite the crowd, the service was professional and incredibly fast. The food was delicious, and the staff was top-notch. I wish every restaurant in Israel offered service even half as good as what we received here. Highly recommended!

Our recent visit to The Grill Room at the King David Hotel offered delicious food, generous portions, and an elegant atmosphere. However, the experience was overshadowed by extremely slow service. It took over an hour for our group of eight to receive our meals, with hardly any apology or gesture of goodwill from the staff. We were offered just two small liver entrees to share, which felt inadequate given the delay—especially at a restaurant of this caliber and price point. Additionally, our happy hour cocktails arrived so late that we didn’t have time to order a second round. Unfortunately, despite the quality of the food, the poor service has left a lasting impression, and I will think twice before returning.
