The hidden, strictly local stone-walled alleys branching off the wide main avenues of Jerusalem's central market. The Vibe: Industrial, warm, and booming with music. Heavy iron tables line the old limestone walls under historic brick arches. The Food: World-famous for the legendary Jerusalem Mixed Grill (Meorav Yerushalmi)—a deeply flavorful, heavily spiced iron flat-top scramble of chicken hearts, spleens, and meat tossed with caramelized onions and garlic, stuffed into warm, pillowy laffa breads.

Great Starters, great service and atmosphere Recommend the Mushroom Truffel Polenta and the Calamari with eggplant. Arabiata noodles with 4 shrimps were completely overpowered by the strong anchovies. Only dish that was not worth it. Otherwise a great meal

We were a group of 4 people, came over for a dinner on a Saturday. Initially we were seated in the upper floor, and we were kinda bummed it was next to the toilet, also where you can't really feel the good vibes this restaurant is so well known for. It took the hostess literally 2 minutes to understand the situation, and she suggest that we move to sitting at the chef's bar, right in front of the open kitchen where everything happens in front of you. Elad the chef was so welcoming and friendly, and it was absolutely the most perfect dining experience, definitely 10/10 on that aspect. The food itself was beyond expectations - we shared all of the dishes, and Elad was so considerate to split them to small plates instead of serving them in one plate, which contributed so much to the entire experience, and it was very well thought. He also guided us through the menu, and pointed out the dishes that would suit us the most, and they were all on point, no disappointments at all. Since we sat on the bar, it was amazing seeing how the kitchen operates - the professionalism, the good vibes of the staff that affect the restaurant's vibes and the BTS experience of actually seeing the food put together. I definitely think this place is 100% worth the hype, and there's a very good reason that it remains such a staple in Jerusalem's culinary scene. Can't wait to come back!!

The place is packed and had a wonderful atmosphere. The hostess was kind and even accommodated us about 15 minutes earlier than our reservation. Food: Starters were great, really both delecisous and well presented. So highly recommend them as all we ordered was good. Sadly this doesn't follow through to the main courses which were a mess. Fish was extremely salted to a point that all you could taste was saltiness and not the fish. Spicy pasta was oily and greasy. The flavour was heavily overshadowed by oil taste. The brisket was the only main course which was nice. And probably worth a taste. Drinks: Cocktails and the G&T were simply bad. Even when asking to use higher tier of Gin the end result was not great. Service: The service was bad not because the waiters weren't helpful, but simply due to the fact there were like only 3 of them for a whole 2 floors. Which causes long wait times, missed orders and various mischiefs. To their credits the waiters tried their best. I guess we just expected a bit better from what supposed to be the best food in town.
