Kassandra Olive Oil Ice Cream Shop - Afytos

During our week in town, we visited Kassandra 4 times, which probably says everything about how much we enjoyed it. The ice cream here is easily the best we found in Afytos. It is made with mineral water and olive oil, which gives it a wonderfully smooth texture, makes it incredibly refreshing on hot days, and helps it stay cold without melting too quickly. There is a great variety of flavors, so everyone can find something they like. Their coffee is also excellent. I highly recommend trying the traditional Greek coffee here. The baklava is delicious as well and perfect for taking away if you want a sweet treat for later. Oh, and lemonade! I believe it was for 1,5€ and it was really refreshing. One of the things that made us keep coming back was the service. The gentleman serving us was always smiling, welcoming, and happy to help with recommendations. The portions were generous, and every interaction felt genuine and warm. There is also a lovely little courtyard where you can sit and enjoy your coffee, ice cream, or baklava, although everything is available to take away as well. What really stands out is that this feels like a local business run by people who genuinely enjoy what they do and care about their customers. Every visit was consistently excellent. If you’re looking for the best ice cream in Afytos, great coffee, delicious baklava, and authentic Greek hospitality, Kassandra is definitely worth a visit.
