I’d already been to Las Iguanas before and it was very average so my expectations were really low when I came today. But despite that the reality was worse than my expectations. I genuinely cannot understand the good reviews for this place. There was a table of 12 of us and only two of the people in our group actually enjoyed their meals. Incredibly overpriced tiny portions and lacking any decent flavour. Expect to leave hungry. I had the steak fajitas and one beer and my bill came to £33 which included the service charge. When my fajitas came I had enough steak to fill one fajita even though I was given 4 wraps. I had a teaspoon of cheese. The sour cream was almost like water the salsa like something you buy from Tesco’s. If I’d paid £10 for my meal I would have been upset, never mind £33. Without doubt one of the weird meals I’ve ever had in a restaurant. All I can say is completely avoid this place.
First of all, great and efficient service from Robert. In the world full of fakeness and hyper-optimism his down-on-earth and sarcastic approach was a breath of fresh air. Sarcasm is a dying art, more and more people don't get it and I appreciate when someone still gets it.
Food was good and yummy, not many prawns though, 2 per fajita but overall I enjoyed it. Sizzling effect on the skillet when food is brought to the table always gets me. My suggestion would be to add more spices and make whole experience interesting taste wise.
Restaurant is very big, they have drink bar where one person makes all the magic happen. Nice atmosphere and chill vibes, but it wasn't busy.
Having been to other branches this one was below average. Took 45 mins since sitting for someone to take an order and bring drinks and food and the restaurant was not busy only three other tables with customers. Waiter didn’t know anything about current offers available just said look online. Surely as a staff member you should know offers and be promoting them. Potato bravas tasted frozen but took 30 mins to come out. Main meal was nice but waiting times terrible and once another waitress came she was much more friendly but I wouldn’t be coming back to this branch if you want to wait around for ages for average food to arrive.
We had a fantastic experience at Las Iguanas! A special thank you to Mara, who was absolutely lovely, friendly and attentive throughout our visit. She made us feel very welcome and really looked after us.
The cocktails were great, the atmosphere was brilliant, and Mara’s excellent service made the experience even better. 🍹
Thank you, Mara! We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
I’ve been to Las Iguanas Wembley more than twice now, and that alone should tell you how much I enjoy it! I’m a huge fan of spicy drinks and they absolutely deliver — actually, they slay, especially during happy hour with the buy one get one free deal. The cocktails are full of flavour and never disappoint.
The tapas are hands down the best thing on the menu — so tasty and perfect for sharing. I’d probably pass on the main meals (they’re good!), but honestly everything else just outshines them.
The staff are the sweetest and always happy to accommodate any request within reason, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a go-to spot for drinks and tapas in Wembley!
