If you're visiting Tangier and only have time for one meal, make it here. There are no menus to pore over and no decisions to make. You simply trust the kitchen, and they reward that trust with one of the most memorable seafood feasts we've ever had. The experience begins with a fragrant fish soup, served with barley, millet, fresh olive oil, crushed nuts, and warm bread. It is rich, comforting, and layered with flavor. Next comes an incredible spread of marinated olives, roasted nuts, sweet melon, and fresh fruit that perfectly balances the meal. Then the seafood arrives. Beautifully grilled whole fish, smoky from the charcoal, followed by a sizzling platter of fish, calamari, monkfish, and shark, cooked with spinach, peppers, herbs, and spices in a bubbling clay dish. Every bite tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. Nothing was overcomplicated, the quality of the seafood spoke for itself. What impressed us most was the authenticity. This doesn't feel like a restaurant created for tourists. It feels like being welcomed into someone's home for a meal they've perfected over generations. The service was warm, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. That also means do not expect it to be a fast meal, it is going to be a slower pace to the service so be prepared to enjoy your meal. At 250 dirhams per person, including the entire multi-course experience, it may be one of the best dining values we've ever encountered anywhere in the world. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back. An unforgettable meal, and one of the highlights of our time in Morocco. Highly, highly recommended.
