O-M-G is this place for reals?
We found this restaurant on Yelp months back, I've had it bookmarked since. We were able to get reservations on a Saturday about three weeks out- the wait was beyond worth it. We can't get over how delicious and thoughtful each plate we ordered.
The small plates are all so unique. Our favorite was the peach & potatoes, the flavors were incredible and the ingredients were fresh. This place is top notch.
We also loved the service and ambiance. The bathrooms are super chic with funky lights, the dining area has really cool wallpaper and gorgeous plants you can take home with you for a small purchase.
We will be back a million times over. I'm already looking for when we can get in again!
I had a really nice time at Little Beast Restaurant. The place has a cozy and relaxed vibe, perfect for just sitting back and enjoying good food. Everything we ordered came out fresh and full of flavor, you can tell they care about quality. The staff was friendly and made sure we were comfortable the whole time, which I really appreciated. Service was smooth and not rushed at all. It’s one of those spots where you just feel good being there. Definitely a place I’d come back to again when I’m craving something tasty and chill.
This was our first time dining at Little Beast, and our meal and service were excellent.
We sat in the covered patio area and started with the beet salad with burrata on a bed of arugula that we shared. For a person who has disliked beets their entire life, I have been slowly working to try them more often. Surprisingly, I liked the salad a lot and would order it again.
For my main meal, I had the Porterhouse pork chop, which is the first time I ever had this cut, and it was quite good. It was tender and juicy. It was also a little undercooked close to the bone, but I suppose that is not unusual considering you wouldn't want it to be dry and tough from overcooking. They were very kind to substitute any gluten items I couldn't eat for another non-gluten item. Because of this, I was able to try the kimchi rice cake, and that thing is a craveable morsel. My husband had the grilled flat iron steak. It was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It came with chausser sauce, which is a rich dark sauce made with wine and mushrooms. It's so good I could drink it, lol.
Amazing food. Great ambiance. Super friendly staff. Run don’t walk, and would hurry back. Drinks are elevated but easy to drink (watch out!) and the seasonal fare simply is divine. If you’re going before summer ends, the summer corn risotto was by far the standout and did make me tear up a bit.
All of the patrons were kind and in a great mood. We weren’t afraid to ask what other tables got and we got a few questions ourselves. Overall definitely a place to put on your Must-Go list.
It's rare when every plate you order is great but from the appetizer to salad to entree to cocktail to dessert --everything was delicious. The biscuits and ham were fantastic. The wedge salad had great flavor contrasts. I had the stroganoff which was fantastic, highly recommend it. My lady had the flat iron steak which was generous and had an excellent char. I had the rum drink where the surfer's go, and it was hard not to order another one!
If you're in Eagle Rock I definitely recommend dinner and drinks at Little Beast.
