We came to London especially to visit Marrone Tiramisu after following their story on Instagram - and we were so glad that we did.
A short queue outside and a beautiful little Piaggio told us immediately that we were in the right place. We had an even better sign while we were waiting: a lady behind us had actually rejoined the queue while still eating her tiramisu, telling us it was so good that she was already going back in for another one!
Finally it was our turn, and the options looked so amazing that there was only one sensible thing to do - order all of them. Pistachio, Classic and Dark Chocolate, with a mixture of alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.
They were absolutely delicious. Even the preparation has a little bit of theatre to it, and then they arrive beautifully presented in those gorgeous glass cups.
But the tiramisu itself is the star. The texture was perfect: incredibly light and creamy, with beautifully defined layers. The biscuit had soaked up all that rich coffee flavour without becoming soggy or disappearing into the cream - it still had just enough texture and structure to make every spoonful interesting. Everything felt perfectly balanced, rich without being heavy, and the kind of dessert where you finish the last spoonful and immediately want to go back for more.
And apparently we wouldn’t be the first!
We will absolutely be going back. My favourite? They were all genuinely excellent, but the Pistachio just has it for me. Absolutely worth the trip.
Very tasty and creamy tiramisu. I had the non-alcoholic, milk chocolate version, and was pleasantly surprised at the flavours. Although this is currently not a restaurant - they have a small pop-up shop near Piccadilly Circus - the service was friendly and cheerful, and the staff helpful and chatty. Allow time to queue outside the shop, because they're only open on weekends at the moment. I waited about 15 minutes in the middle of the day, but it was worth it. Hoping they fulfil their dream of a flagship store here, because it's clearly popular and they deserve it.
Very disappointing. I had very high expectations after seeing so much about this place on social media, but unfortunately, I can say it was all hype.
I tried the pistachio tiramisù, as the classic one wasn’t available. Unfortunately, it tasted very commercial and, in my opinion, was comparable to something you would find in the chilled dessert section of a supermarket.
A real disappointment, especially considering the expectations created by their social media presence.
What can I say so impressed with this little shop the owner also has a little Piaggio aswell the Pistachio Tiramiso was to die for there was a big queue but well worth the wait cant wait to go back I will definitely be making this a to go to place on my visits. I would highly reccomend this to everyone especially as a dessert specialty with 100% homemade ingredients authentic and top notch 👌
We went there on Sunday and the van was not there at all with a paper notice that it was closed. Understanding that all tiramisu were sold out really quickly on their first day (Sat), how about Sunday? Did they open at all on Sunday after midday?
