Cafe Caribbean might have just given me one of the most comforting meals of my London trip 🇯🇲✨
I ordered the brown stew chicken, a beef patty, and festivals — and WOW. The brown stew chicken was tender, flavorful, and tasted like it had been slow cooked with love all day 😭🔥 The gravy alone deserved an award. The beef patty was flaky, warm, and packed with flavor, while the festivals were perfectly sweet, soft, and golden. Everything balanced each other so well.
What made the experience even better was the gentleman working there. He was incredibly welcoming and let me sample different sauces before I made my final choice 😂 honestly every sauce was hitting, but the one I picked took the whole plate to another level.
You know food is good when you take one bite and immediately get quiet for a second 😭😂 If you’re in Spitalfields Market looking for authentic Caribbean flavors and good energy, do NOT skip this spot. Hidden gem for sure 🌴🍽️🇯🇲
i am giving this place a 5 out of 5, Trish was such a kind and lovely person, I would recommend and especially the oxtail with rice and peas THE BESTTTT frrr the taste was so good, GO TRYYY!

I brought a salt fish patty and also brought 1 fried chicken for a quick bite for lunch.
The patty was large, full and crispy. Might have been home-made if I’m not mistaken. Enjoyed every bite.
The fried chicken was absolutely scrumptious.
I know I’m coming back when I’m in the area again!

We took a little break for lunch and decided to treat ourselves to some Caribbean food. Wow, it was amazing! The portions were generous, and everything tasted so delicious. We enjoyed the lamb patties, rice and peas, and curry mutton—yum! I loved it so much that I decided to grab some curry mutton to take home for dinner so I could savour it again later. I highly recommend this place! 👌

As promised, here's my review, haha. I have never eaten Caribbean food before, and the staff was so nice, letting me try the different sauces and giving me tips. The food itself was great too. I had jerk chicken, and although it was a bit spicy, the taste was familiar. They also have different sauces with varying levels of spiciness, so no worries about that.
