Some of the best bites I’ve had this year!
Everything was extremely yummy. Every dish had a depth of flavour that can only be achieved when the chef and team really love the art of cooking.
The service was also fantastic. From the moment you walk in, front of house is warm and helpful. Servers are also so friendly and enthusiastic. We were also given an extra dish of tomato pasta because they said we looked so excited! Nice touch :) That tomato pasta ended up being our favourite dish!
We loved the entire experience so much that when we finished the meal, we immediately made our next reservation with front of house!
Absolutely loved this restaurant, it's a masterclass in marrying two very different cuisines together in the most subtle and delicious way. Right now I'd say it's one of the best spots in London for inventiveness, flavour and price. The Hamachi, Truffle Soy & Furikake crudo was sensational, fresh, delicate and perfectly balanced, easily one of the best dishes of the night. The Soft Shell Crab & Nori was equally brilliant, I could have happily eaten those like popcorn chicken all evening. The Hokkaido Milk Bread, Jam & Burnt Honey Butter was good too, though with honey butter having a bit of a moment on menus everywhere at the minute, it did feel a touch rich alongside everything else. Still, a lovely little treat to share.
The Tagliolini, Matcha, Tuna & Caviar was the biggest surprise of the meal and honestly where the fusion concept came together perfectly, subtle, delicious, with the matcha adding an incredible extra layer of flavour I wasn't expecting. We also shared the Gilt Head Bream Kabayaki, grilled beautifully, though we made the rookie error of not ordering any sides, so the sauce, lovely as it was, got a little intense towards the end without something to soak it up. Worth ordering rice or similar alongside it. To finish, the Brulee Black Sesame Cheesecake & Matcha Gelato was a gorgeous way to round things off, not too sweet, plenty more matcha, what's not to like.
The staff were absolutely lovely and clearly know and love the menu, happy to talk us through the dishes and genuinely helpful throughout. Right now this feels like incredible value for money, the flavours and cooking techniques on show are Michelin standard, yet it's served up in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere that only adds to the experience. Highly recommend, book ahead as it's deservedly popular!

Surprised to find they had halal options! There was a couple dishes that wasn’t to my liking but that is solely down to preference as my sisters liked every dish we ate. Customer service is amazing staff wonderful, food (that I liked) delicious. There was a little wait between dishes but then again the restaurant was full. Definitely will return

One of the best restaurant we’ve been in London. You have to try every dish, it’s delicious. The hostess was very nice and welcoming, also our waitress very attentive! We will come back 100%
Thank you for today to all the team!

Really good food and service! The portions are on the smaller side so just a heads up on that front. But overall very nice atmosphere and vibes too. The tortellini truffle was incredible. Would definitely recommend getting this, me and all the people I was with, agreed it was fantastic.
I would say they do honour the Japanese and Italian combination, I was sceptical at first but they did a really good job pulling together the flavours.
The milk bread should also get an honourable mention!
The rest of the food was decent, but we only had a handful items from the menu.
