Best Times to Visit
Papi's Steakhouse is ideal for special occasions, celebrations, or romantic evenings. Given its fine dining nature and dinner-focused menu, evenings are the best time to visit. Reservations are recommended.
My family and I went to Papi’s to celebrate father’s day and unfortunately the entire experience fell short for us. Right off the bat our reservation was 20 minutes late due to a glass being broken and the table needing to be reset which okay, fine, fair enough — initially we were waiting around the butcher area and then after some time out there we were told our table was ready so we went through the door where we had to awkwardly wait for 5-10 minutes near the chefs table until our table was actually ready.
I want to preface by saying that our waitress was absolutely wonderful, she was attentive and checked in on us often. She was well versed on the menu, and truly was the highlight of the evening. The next downfall of the experience was that one of the men that were pushing the table side carts hit the back of my moms chair with enough force to knock her purse off of the purse stand that was brought over to us.
The last issue we had was that our entrees took over an hour to be brought to us, again, the waitress was wonderful and also was surprised by this. The food was, fine. Just, fine. It was nothing spectacular, especially for the price point but it was fine. They did comp one of our entrees due to the time it took for the food to be prepared which of course was appreciated.
Overall, the entire evening just did not feel like an elevated dining experience. It definitely fell flat for the price point. I will be interested in trying again in the future, and I am hoping for a more positive experience.
Came in to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and the evening completely exceeded my expectations. It was easily one of the most indulgent dining experiences we’ve had.
From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was exceptional. The host and manager were incredibly warm and welcoming, immediately setting the tone for the night.
We spent some time at the bar with Dan, who was extremely knowledgeable and crafted an off-menu cocktail for us based purely on our taste preferences, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Our server Jesse was fantastic. Personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. You could tell the whole team takes real pride in what they’re serving.
The atmosphere at Papi’s is incredible: lively, elegant, and perfect for a special occasion. The food itself was truly outstanding. Portions are generous, served family style, and everything arrived hot and perfectly executed.
Some highlights of the night were the tableside Caesar salad and the flambé desserts, which made the whole experience feel theatrical and special in the best way. It’s rare to see that level of classic hospitality done so well.
Every dish felt indulgent and memorable, honestly some of the best food we’ve ever experienced.
Even the final touch of the takeaway cookies at the end of the night made the experience feel thoughtful and complete.
Papi’s is truly a gem in London and absolutely worth the splurge. We left already talking about when we can come back.

Had a great dinner at Papi’s. They serve everything family style, which is nice because you get to try everything. The complimentary champagne and pickles were a nice touch, and the service overall was great. Really enjoyed the steaks we chose. We also got the table side Caesar salad and banana foster which were excellent.
The seats were very comfortable, and the lighting set a nice ambiance. One thing that stood out to me was that despite it being a full restaurant, the acoustics didn’t make it seem too loud and I could easily hear the conversation at our table, but didn’t really hear anything from other tables.

There are restaurants… and then there are places that make a night feel like a memory the moment it begins. That’s exactly what happened at Papi’s Steakhouse.
We went to celebrate my brother Xristo’s birthday, and from the second we arrived, the experience felt special. The sweetest surprise was when they brought out the menus and his name “Xristo” was printed right on the front. Such a small detail, but honestly it meant everything. It made the whole night feel personal and thoughtful, like the staff genuinely cared about making his birthday memorable.
The atmosphere is beautiful—elegant but still warm and welcoming. You feel like you’re somewhere special without it feeling stiff or pretentious. The steaks were cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and everything we ordered was incredible. You can tell they take real pride in the food.
The service was just as amazing. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure our table had everything we needed the whole night. Celebrating a birthday there felt effortless because they handled everything with such care.
If you’re looking for a place in London to celebrate something important—or honestly just want an amazing steak dinner—this is the spot. The food is outstanding, the service is top tier, and those little personal touches (like putting a birthday name on the menu) make it unforgettable.
Highly recommend Papi’s Steakhouse. We’ll definitely be back. 🥩✨

The vibes were definitely old-school Italian mafia when you walk through the butcher shop door to get into the hidden restaurant. This place reminded me of the Golden Steer in Las Vegas and I loved the personalized birthday greeting that I was able to do for my girlfriend, it blew her mind and the rest of the menu and foods were sublime. Kai, our server was impeccable. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and every detail down to the hand lotion in the bathroom and the extremely bougie toilets were luxurious. Worth the hype and worth the money.
