honestly it’s amazing that this place can serve pretty good food and drinks. had the tasting menu of the bites - everything was good but the klondike bar. just cream in the center. genuinely sad to eat it. i loved the “intro”. they had a welcoming gin, jasmine tea drink which at welcome was quite fantastic but had a full size later and it lost all hint of tea. also tried the un verano sin ti experience. incredible!!! price!!! for drinks and bites. all drinks were quite fantastic, but according to my companion - some missed the mark in terms of album / song they were going for. the thing that tipped me to four stars not five was the service. they took forever to get our first order. they mixed up our food, and they forgot to bring the last drink of the album menu. hostess was not knowledgeable of the menu and waitress seemed annoyed to have to explain it / drinks reccs. i’d come here again to see if that’s improved and if not, no place is worth that service esp w gratuity pre-added.

What an amazing cocktail bar! We ordered off menu and Mario was fantastic! I asked him for something with vodka and he created a refreshing drink with mint that was delish! The vinyl music made this the perfect vibe. Definitely worth checking out if you're in DC.

Walking up to Press Club Bar of Record, we were immediately drawn in--it had that cool, funky, effortlessly hip vibe that makes you feel like you've stumbled onto something special. As tourists, we had no idea how intimate the space was (or that reservations are recommended even just for drinks!), so we felt incredibly lucky when a staff member took pity on us and offered an outside table. I wish I could remember his name--he truly made the experience. He brought so much energy and personality, setting the tone for the whole night. After scanning the QR codes on the "records" for the menu, we each ordered something different. I went with the Take Me Out--a mix of mezcal, pineapple, amontillado, tamarind, mango, coconut, and lime--and I was not prepared for just how delicious it would be. It was layered, refreshing, and completely memorable. The presentation and attention to detail were next-level. My drink arrived with a perfectly round ice sphere and was paired with a sugared, vegan mango gummy that added a fun, unexpected twist. Our host also elevated several of the drinks tableside--adding custom tinctures and even creating a smiley face with drops of oil and basil in one cocktail nearby. It felt thoughtful, creative, and a little theatrical in the best way. We spent the evening outside, enjoying incredible drinks, easy conversation, and a warm night under the stars. It was one of those experiences that just sticks with you. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to D.C.--and Press Club Bar of Record will absolutely be on my list to revisit. Highly recommend, and maybe make a reservation!

was in DC for a short trip and Press Club was on my to-do list. so glad i was able to stop by. they welcomed me in, sat me at the bar and served me a welcome drink which was nice and unexpected. “Take Me Out” drink was amazing. had nothing like it before, so ended up ordered another round. theres only positive things i can say about Press Club. all the staff was super friendly and personal, music was great & their attention to detail with everything was A+.
