An interesting indoor and outdoor bar! Great social space for a small or medium sized gathering. We had a group of 3 wanting a small bite to eat and a drink, we opted for the outdoor seating as a large group was inside and it made the space extremely loud! Although, we enjoyed being outside even though it was rather cold, the staff were lovely enough to put on the outdoor heating, making the space warm enough to sit.
This bar could consider some more upbeat staff attitudes, we found the staff to be rather stale in the customer service and this was across both our visits of an evening and a morning for breakfast. We had complimentary breakfast included which was the American breakfast only, it was a great sized meal! More than we could eat, but thoroughly impressed with the size! Overall, I will certainly visit again, as the food was lovely and drinks were nice, great atmosphere all in all.
This is a top-tier bar and my personal favorite for hosting out-of-town guests. The night view is breathtaking, making it the perfect spot to showcase the city. Beyond the scenery, the cocktails are expertly crafted and the fried chicken is a must-try. Highly recommended!
Small bar area, great views, and great outdoor seating. Food is excellent. It’s a hotel restaurant so it’s on the pricier side but this is SF and the portions are decent.
What a cool place, the atmosphere is the best part, amazing views of the city, comfortable
seating and heaters that keep it warm even into the late hours of the night.
Started off with the fried chicken, the breading was perfect and the sauces really made the dish stand out, one of them is like a sweet tangy barbecue sauce, the presentation was great as you can see from the photo and it came with some buttery biscuits.
Next we got the burger, medium. The paddy was rich and juicy and the bun was soft, mouth watering and melted in your mouth. The fries were also delicious, not over salted and complimented the burger well.
To finish off we had the potatoes in hummus. An interesting and unique combination, when the potatoes came out they looked like sausages. They were easily cut with a fork and the hummus had a delicious taste and nice fine texture, another dish done well, less traditional than the first two, but put together well.
Everything including the service was top notch, you really feel like a VIP when eating at this rooftop gem. Thanks for the food, and I will be returning again soon.
